Think this is an apt website to begin with:

https://countingthekids.org/ @pommynoir thank you for sharing.

Motaz is safe and has left Gaza. Bisan has evacuated for the 5th(?) time and left Khan Younis.

Sadly, Mansour is still missing. He hasn't been heard from for over three days and was last known to be in the beseiged Nassar Medical Complex. His page is being updated by his team but not by him personally. I think as the days go by hope is fading. He is well known enough that somebody would let him use their phone to make contact if he could.

On Friday 26th we will get the ICJ opinion on this conflict. Time will tell, but the expectation is nothing significant will come of it and as in the past we can expect it to be ignored as it is not law.

And still the world watches.....

I have copied your last post over @Charlotte1993 because that was an interestibgconvedsation, it seemed a shame to cut it short.

Yes and it’s played out the same in MSM they go all out in the beginning supporting Israhell and then once it’s obvious that they’re committing war crimes the coverage goes silent or another disaster happens.
Two examples from past conflicts are a Dutch plane tragedy another is a suspected terrorist bomb in a car at Glasgow airport they were relieved at the the distraction and they went all out on that to avoid reporting the Israeli atrocities.
They did the same this time it was non stop coverage when they were sympathetic over 7/10 and when it became obvious that a Genovide was unfolding they tried to switch to the Houthis with the air strikes and also fear mongering about WW3.
The only reason their formula hasn’t worked this time is because of social media and the MSM has to compete with independent news outlets online and also reporters from inside Gaza uploading the truth but they’ve still tried to hide the atrocities as much as possible until they can’t because it’s gone viral.

I really hope Mansour is safe, I’ve been thinking of him all day and been checking Instagram constantly, praying he’s ok. He has to be alright 🙏 I can’t take this awful world, it’s honestly too much.

I initially thought he had managed to evacuate Gaza but then for some reason I thought those posts today were his and was confused why he was sharing the one about people being concerned where he was. I thought he was going to do a follow up with an explanation, that maybe he had managed to get out but had kept quite but then I saw the video worrying about his whereabouts and realised it wasn't the case...
I have no idea how he could disappear, he is well known, even if he had died I thought surely we would know because of how well known he was. It's distressing, I'm not sure he is dead, maybe I am being blindly hopeful or in denial....

hi all - lurker here! tbh i was bracing myself for these threads to take the opposite stance so glad we're on the same page. i'm really trying to keep up and educate myself more and boycotts are the easiest way for me to do so right now. saw this about audible via twitter yesterday but appears to be three months old (sorry if already mentioned in that case!)

would love a link to an updated boycott list if possible! think a wiki would be useful too but idk if that's a thing in the off topic section. thanks for all the reading i need to catch up on and any future info from here on out ❤

Oh goodness if you want heartwarming, go and see wonhochungs latest post, him and Motaz joking around laughing and Motaz nearly breaking the guys back with a hug so hard it about snapped him 😰🥹

Also to add, his caption says ‘so glad you and your family are safe’ regarding Motaz, so hopefully he has support and love around him.

Thank you OJ!

The thing that gets me is our government is not arsed about the poor and needy in our society they aren’t scared to make things worse for the most vulnerable whilst telling people we are about supporting those that want to work bollox. Children are living in poverty and there’s no way out for them. The government couldn’t give a duck, but with Israel they don’t seem to wanna call it for what it is? Like they don’t wanna upset their government now that could be, because of antisemitism look at what happened with Corbyn but I don’t believe thats just the reason. I believe it’s because Israel holds a lot of power over our country and we support them regardless.

(I know the two are completely different but I just find it interesting there’s always money to support war but never anything to help those that really need it)

I wonder if because no one has seen Mansour's body (as far as I am aware there was no bombing, just shooting, grenandes and some light shelling) (I just said 'just' shooting that is sad in and of itself) so the chances of being under rubble is unlikely. Maybe the Israeli's have taken him alive (or even dead 🤬) which would be easier to do than we think. Somebody must know something.

I pray his soul is safe. Wherever he is.

Watching BBC Question Time now and can't believe they're still talking about the threat of Hamas on the border when Israel are carrying out a whole genocide.

Just watched a TikTok that’s suggesting Mansaur has been taken by the IOF. Thats coming from his team, they don’t know this for sure but they believe it’s the only reason he would be out of communication. 😔

I have everything crossed that the ICJ will vote that Israel is committing genocide and that more countries will boycott products or put sanctions on politicians/businesses.

Gazans can disappear under rubble as there is virtually nothing to dig to search for people. It must be horrific to be trapped and then a slow death. All deaths in Palestine are horrific.
I wonder how many people are listed as missing.

Have the Canadian government got onto Netanyahu to voice their concern for Mansour whereabouts.

I haven't seen many reports from countries with missing or dead workers calling out Israel.
Although I don't think Israel would heed any approach. They don't care who gets in the way of the genocide of Palestine as long as the land is cleared for their people to settle there and obtain the resources so Israel is self sufficient and not rely on surrounding countries for oil.

Thanks for the new thread. I am thinking I am going to have to have a Nanna nap to be ready for tonight at 10 ;-)

I have gone from Mansour must be gone to
maybe mansour is injured to
we would have heard from someone if he was injured to
we would have heard from someone if he was gone to
hubby saying this morning maybe he has been arrested

now I see others are saying that too, it makes more sense since surely Mansour is well known enough someone would post info about him.

He was doing charity and aid work as well so I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted him gone. Also we are getting low on English speaking reporters.
---
I have yet to see any media reports about Mansour's disappearance or any gov't response here.
I just googled and found this

Today's the day. Although I think of the world we are in now and struggle to believe we have gotten to this point and that this will make any difference.

We don't need the ICJ to tell us what we already know we are witnessing. Our politicians are criminals. Murderers even.

I honestly used to wake up each morning and think I would see that overnight sensible heads prevailed and something had happened and things were improving. That may have also been because we did have those couple of cease fires so did have some good news in the early stages BUT now I feel like nothing is ever going to change and I wonder how this is ever going to end. We know they dont want a Palestinian state so if there are still Palestinians alive what will they do with them so they can settle their land, are they not going to say its over until everyone is dead.

Question time was infuriating. ‘Are we living in a pre-war world’ and they reference Russia, China, the middle-east, Iran.

One lady dared to mention that the UK and it’s nato allies are escalating situations by bombing Yemen and propping up the Israeli terrorist state and whilst some in the audience applauded, the whole panel shut it down.

It’s not ignorance unfortunately, it’s exceptionalism. The civilised west will police the world and tell the savages how to behave. It’s bleeping infuriating.

This guy is a good follow on twitter. Not sure if this has been posted before. Basically the US have gone crying to China because they fucked up in the Red Sea and China have told them where to go.
