The man who climbed up Elizabeth Tower, Daniel Day, has been charged with intentionally or recklessly causing a public nuisance and trespassing on a protected site. He was up there for 16 hours barefoot. Thank goodness he didn’t do any damage.

Unlikely, but I really hope he gets a custodial sentence.

Agree, the thread used to be a respectful discussion as we all have our own views. I think we’ve tried to make them see the bigger picture and it’s not going to work so we might as well leave them to get on with it elsewhere and get back to discussing the hostage situation.
