Is anyone a doula ?

I’m thinking of doing a course and becoming a doula.
Does anyone have any advice on getting into it?
So far I’ve looked at registering with doula uk and doing one of their approved courses but there are many course providers.
I’d be interested to hear how much work doulas get as I don’t know anyone who’s used one

I'd quite enjoy being a doula. I'm really interested in pregnancy/ birth but I'm not medically minded at all.
