@Sickofinstacrap for this one - Caolfhionn - are you pronouncing that Kay-lynn?

For girls I love the name Brona ever since I heard it in Penny Dreadful although I don't know how popular/unpopular the name is today and it does mean "sorrow" so maybe only good for a fictional character.

brona was fairly popular for babies in 80s and 90s i think, havent heard many babies called brona lately but a great option.

I also LOVE Eilis, forgot that in my first list

I had a teacher in the Gaeltacht with that name and I absolutely love it! It’s pronounced k-w-EE-l-uh-n 😍

Also how do you pronounce Líadan? Never heard of that name before looks fab

Cara...means friend in irish 💕
Cara is one of my favs, I need to start disassociating names with people I dislike as it’s counting out a lot of Irish names for me 🤣

In that case its spelt Caoilfhionn, with an extra 'i' - that's what gives it the EE sound. its a fab name. Líadan is pronounced LEAH-din. Yes name associations are very powerful arent they!
