Love that this is back, watching again for the second time today as I always miss stuff first time around 🤣

Good fun to watch, some great ideas and I liked many of the first rooms. I'm happy it's back on.

Watched episode 1 last night, loved it. I agree that the playing field seems fairly even at this stage! I didn't find anyone to be annoying, which is always a bonus. My faves were the scouse lad, the manc girl, the steamer room and the Lebanese lady's. Half of them, I know 🤣

Love it too. And AC is a great presenter for it. He genuinely makes me laugh. Also treating us to LLB in the first show! 🥰

Is it just me or is this week more about recycling rather than sustainability? To me sustainability is things that will last and most of the stuff I have seen looks like tat that will end up being replaced within 2 years.

I liked Emma’s space - I thought she chose a nice blue and I liked the mural. Chair at the end did look a bit crap

I'm not really wowed by any of them so far this year - seems like the standard has dropped sadly.

I want them because they show up. So many tradies I’ve tried to employ just ghost me or I have to continually chase them up. It’s a nightmare!

What else has the guy with the grey beard been in?

i and my friend separately said we’ve seen him before but neither of us remember from what!

Think the right person went home again, Emma’s space just gave me Care Bear bedroom vibes and when she was explaining her design influences unless they edited her dirty, she couldn’t seem to grasp it was too many to throw at one room let alone a small space and not really right for an office space.

I also thought Bradley’s was just as bad - the desks were completely impractical for a start - but as Emma had been in the bottom 3 the week before it was the right decision.

Rita’s design was really strong again although I did wonder how they’d clean the window with the desk being built up against it.

I really liked Holly's though at first I thought she'd made a mistake leaving the walls bare. But she was spot on and made it all look cosy and inviting. The lighting was lovely.
I think she's very good.

I loved Holly’s sink - she was the only one who thought about it as a cool AND practical space. The yellow fluted panels were lovely too. And the desks looked a really good size to work from.

Feels a bit depressing that we used to build such wonderful buildings, factories, mills etc and now it’s at the point where we are having offices in shipping containers. Felt a bit dystopian to me (not sure if it’s the right word but I’m having a bad day so just go with it haha).
I loved Holly and Rita’s.
Those who had fold down tables (Victoria was one) definitely do not want larger people or pregnant women to work for their company! Hardly any space to breathe
