Anyone else find the nurse mum is constantly on the beg? And nothing is ever good enough for her? Despite all the help she’s had from the NHS and all the money she’s had donated she is still constantly complaining. Just find her really self entitled and thinks everything should be given to her on a plate. She’s now been asking everyone this evening to make donations for a homeless man in her town. I understand that she clearly needs help with Jaxon but to now start asking her followers for more money....It’s just never ending.

She did that out of spite,the ‘other SEN mum’ started a Gofundme for Kisscub ( an actual real life friend of the Nursemum) but Kaytee did not share it on her stories which was most probably very hurtful to those involved.
So I expected Nursemum to post the Kisscub Gofundme,it would have reached its target of £5,000 in a few hours,but No,a random stranger raising money for a months rent/deposit for a homeless man.It quadrupled it’s target in less than an hour! Not nice at all!

I absolutely believe she's entitled to all the services regardless of her life. Her child has very high needs. But she needs to cop on that if you are playing the social media Game, people are gonna jump things like going to Dubai alone immediately after a go fund me and insisting she can't cope alone .

Even at the beginning she could have explained , oh I got a great deal for Dubai etc .

If you are transparent there is rarely room for speculation .

This whole other woman story sounds a bit whack. To me sounds more like Nursemum took all that for granted and didn't pay and is now insisting she was going to.

Absolutely agree, she needs to get a little more social media savvy. She has also contradicted herself because when she went to Dubai she said she was putting the holiday on credit and then today in her stories she said the money was in her account ready to pay the other SEN mum. It’s not adding up.

I heard she’s in quite a lot of hot water over her trip to Dubai and how she paid for it considering she pleads poverty one minute and yet has over £50000 in fundraising money.
there was a lot of noise yesterday within the SEN community about it. Apparently another SEN mom helped her a lot with her trip and spent a lot of time with her and she has since blanked her and not mentioned a thing about having any help and is deleting comments about it from her posts... all very misleading, I’m not sure what the outcome was but can’t see why she wouldn’t want people to know if she has had any help. We all need help at some point.
Also she was fundraising for carers because they were cut? Have they been cut ? She has some questions to answer and is doing a great job of avoiding them.
does she have her own feed yet ?

She started fundraising for a second standing chair for her son to have at Nursery,she spewed a lot of misleading misinformation saying she was ‘denied funding’ so she very quickly raised about £12,000 on her first Gofundme,and then she said she did get funding and was going to use the money for ‘future needs’ I donated a lot of money myself,never received a Thankyou and I felt conned by her. In the following months her lifestyle became more and more affluent,she always has manicured nails,eyelashes,eyebrows,lip filler,Botox and lots and lots of holidays and designer bags,belts sunglasses etc.She went on an aesthetics course ( £3/4K ish) but said the cuts to her carers and no childcare help meant she couldn’t actually set her lip filler/Botox clinic up.
She went to Paris and stayed at a 5* hotel and had dinner at one of the most expensive restaurants in the world,went shopping in Louis Vuitton.Then she went to Venice and then Madrid,and now Dubai. The issue is, she talks about her struggles of being a carer on benefits which generates huge amounts of support but her lifestyle does not match. I noticed a diamond ring on her engagement finger so I assume she is engaged,she has mentioned her boyfriend only a couple of times,I understand him wanting privacy but it comes across as if better keep my wealthy partner out of my Instagram as I won’t raise as much money’ Her so called ‘troll’ asked her very politely how she could possibly afford to go to Dubai,this is where the big lies begin.I follow the other SEN mum who lives in Dubai,and my god Kaytee is most definitely a deceitful,manipulative attention seeking woman.
No,she hasn’t had carers cut, she gets 60 hours a week! Has she ever said ‘Omg,I am so fortunate to receive free carers 60 hours a week?’ NO SHE HAS NOT! She has a review in 6 months time not a retraction of funding,a review!
In my opinion she needs to be more transparent about her lifestyle,posting things like Emirates premium seats,being on The Palm in Dubai,recommendations for mobile Makeup artist,nail technician,fake tan,eyelashes for a party or saying she is going to stay in a 5* hotel next time she has an appointment at Great Ormond Street will cause people to raise legitimate questions and treating those people as nasty hateful jealous trolls is so absolutely out of order!

I don’t follow thenursemum but I do follow a few SEN mums who were sharing her posts about her son’s career budget being cut. In fact, her story briefly made a bit of noise on Twitter too. I felt desperately sorry for her - her son obviously has some profound disabilities and I couldn’t believe that she was expected to nurse him 24/7 with virtually no respite.

So... can someone get me up to speed? What’s been going on since? None of the SEN mums I follow have said anything.

Perhaps I haven’t explained myself well. I obviously don’t begrudge a disabled child a single penny of government funded support (especially knowing this government is slashing budgets left, right and centre and the support available is never enough).

The only thing I object to is dishonesty - or, at least, lies by omission. When the “brand” you create on Instagram is that you’re a single parent documenting your struggle, warts and all, to then go out of your way to hide a partner or husband is dishonest.

Personally, I feel duped by people who do this. And if I’d donated money, then I’d feel conned. Not because the cause wasn’t worthy, but because the person has misrepresented themselves.

Exactly how I feel,conned! I wonder if my £100 went on lip filler or fake tan? Or a brunch in Dubai?

Absolutely agree with all of this. I noticed the other day she always has nice manicured fingers, Botox/filler and quite often false lashes too. I couldn’t believe it when she went to Great Ormond street and said she was going to treat herself to a five star hotel stay next time. To everyone who says she has a tough time and is entitled to a break, a treat etc. yes she is entitled but it is not the odd treat, it’s one thing after another. I earn 60k a year and she has a better lifestyle and more luxuries/holidays than me! I’m sure if she were to respond she would say her boyfriend/fiancé pays for it all but I don’t trust her. If he’s that well off why didn’t she decline all the holidays and designer bags and ask for him to pay for Jaxons chair instead of begging for money online. It really is a total farce.

New to this thread but people fork out money on things they “want” to pay for, it’s about priorities. It’s unlikely a gofundme page would be lucrative for a holiday but setting one up for a piece of equipment for a disabled child will always prove a better bet surely?
She would rather spend her own money on holidays, nails, tans and donations can be spent on her son?

I agree I didn’t like the way she handled the nursery thing. She came across very aggressive and self entitled. She can’t have it all ways, one minute herself and the carers are struggling to look after him and the next he should be allowed to join a mainstream nursery and it’s discrimination if he’s not. It is NOT discrimination, the nursery would have done a risk assessment and concluded that it is not safe for Jaxon to be there, both for himself and other children. Mainstream nursery staff are not medically trained. As I’ve said before she is being funded by the public purse (which I have no problem with) but she cannot have everything exactly as she wants it and will at times have to accept what she’s offered. Jaxon apparently can go to a specialist nursery but Kaytee doesn’t want this. In my opinion she’s not in a position to be so fussy.

Totally agree,the Nursery issue was very confusing.If she is on one hand fighting to keep her 60 hours a week funding for carers,and posting pictures of Jaxson projectile vomiting in the car,his leaked nappy in the night basically trying to say he is so disabled she couldn’t cope without the 60 hours how on earth is a specialist nursery not an acceptable option?
The thought I also had was having 60 hours a week carers plus 15 hours funded nursery is such a privilege,yet never does she have gratitude for all of the input she receives.
She replied to her ‘troll’ who asked how she could afford her lifestyle by saying she was gifted her brand new car from a charity,she lives in a (brand new modern build) council house,and lives on benefits and credit cards.All very confusing with such conflicting information from her,having a platform on social media has put her in a powerful position to advocate for the SEN community,but unfortunately she seems to be fundraising for the Kaytee travels the world fund. Since I have followed her she has been to Cape Verde,Tenerife,Madrid,Paris,Venice and Dubai,I totally get why people are questioning her!

I don't follow the other SEN mum as I don't know who it is but tbh listening to Kaytee I didn't believe Kaytee's version. So I guess to her and her fans that would make me a troll and a hater.

I remember thinking when she posted a few pics from Dubai, lovely pics of her and Jaxon, that I wondered how she took those pics and some people did ask but she never replied to the question. She could have easily said I have a friend over here who we have been lucky enough to meet up with and she took them.

I don't begrudge Kaytee all the help she gets it is obvious she needs it as Jaxon has so many needs but as these instmums find out if you push a narrative that isn't completely true then people will ask questions about it.

Bullshit usually requires a long winded, elongated version; the story makes the listener confused and it’s hard to decipher in parts. It’s not a straight forward story and makes me question how plausible her version is, and of course there are three versions - her story/perception, her friends story/perception and what actually took place.
