Yes, watching.
It was looking like a really good show until the ridiculous scene involving the vicar and the usb stick though.

Even worse now the wife is in the kitchen
We have the really good scenes and dialogue in the US prison with Tucci and his sidekick, then the Carry On style stuff in the UK with David Tennant.
I mean who on earth would own up to being the owner of a usb containing paedophilia?
It's a bit of a mess for me.

That was a big weakness but otherwise I am liking it, first series that has caught my attention since Its a Sin.

Gawd I love Stanley
He is charismatic, and I love the sidekick with the "photographic memory"

I much preferred the US side. I nearly turned over when the Vicar hurt Janice.
The vicar scenes are not that believable why would he protect a paedophile who looks at porn images of kids and why is his wife seemingly ok about having a woman held prisoner in their cellar?

Who is the actress playing the mother who clearly knows what her son views? I cannot place her. Why did the vicar protect the creep and not just call the police when Janice told him.

According to IMDB she is Tilly Vosburgh, had a role in EastEnders during the 90's but is an actress who's appeared in lots of stuff over the years.

Including films like Atonement, Far From The Madding Crowd

I know her now, she was Michael Rose’s wife in Eastenders and she was in the Bill a few times.

I’m just watching now and I’m a bit confused. Why did no one stand up to help the Chinese girl on the train? And why didn’t Harry just tell his wife it was the man’s USB?

I know this is OTT and baffling in many ways but I am enjoying it, in a rollercoaster kind of way. I really dislike Janice and there is a murky side to her aside from her tutoring, finding myself strangely "drawn" to the wife murderer in prison - did he really kill her?

I'm enjoying it but the character of the vicar's wife is far too oot and unbelievable.

I'm halfway through the first ep. None of this makes any sense. The characters aren't behaving how normal humans would.

Moffatt hasn't written anything decent in years.
