Always bugs me (no pun intended) when they have celebs who are immune from a large majority of tasks. Surely they can find people who can participate. I mean it’s not like they’ve got Beyoncé is it

Very bizarre for vegans to be in there. Most vegans I know class the show as cruel... But I guess money talks ?
Quite looking forward to this year's. Seems a good bunch. Holly did well, bless her. Definitely different and missing the usual double act, but she's doing well.

I'm confused as to why there's so many vegans in there. I'm vegetarian myself but surely if you know a big part of it is eating bugs and doing animal-related challenges, you wouldn't go on there in the first place? I'm curious as to how they'll make it even/fair if they can't do those challenges.
I may have screamed just a little bit when she pulled the snake out of the hole instead of the star
she did brill.

Malique is very quiet too. But the oldies are pretty entertaining, so that's probably why.
Ann is doing so well! I think people will only realise how well she's doing if they understand Autism/Asperger's.
Least favourite camp mate - John. His ego needs taking down a peg or two. He can't cope not being centre of attention/the most important male in there.

I think Holly will get better as she gains more confidence over time, after all, she has big boots to fill (I miss Ant )
I really like Anne, had no idea she had Aspergers, I think the whole of the UK will be supporting her.
I also like Harry and Rita.
Emily did a great job in the trial which I am really shocked by as she made such a song and dance about a leech. That viper was not a happy bunny and I do question welfare, ethics and morals in these types of tasks. As a person with an animal behavioural science and welfare degree I guess watching this gives me mixed feelings. I like that she asked if the snake was ok as well.

I don’t usually mind Holly on things like celeb juice but she is absolutely grating on me on this. Her stupid baby voice, not sure if it’s this show or just because I’m seeing her daily atm but I’m finding her annoying.
Agree with the Anne thing, do feel sorry for her, she probably would have been better suited to big brother or such though we’re there are different rooms she can potter off too etc as being exempt from most tasks is kinda pointless. Even Dec has started making digs about it.
I actually put a bet on Harry at 11/1 on the first night and agree he’s miles the front runner unless he does anything outrageous.
I actually struggle to remember who else is in there a lot of the time it’s so bland.
I did love Noel and Harry’s chat along the lines of

Actually made me laugh out loud. They should have put Olivia Atwood in properly she’d have been great.

That snake was the angriest snake I've ever seen. Poor Emily! She did very well in the trial
Holly is grating, she's really got it in for Noel and her sarcasm about him in tonight's show did her no favours. She's so close minded and a bit of a bully. She also choose him for the 'it might be you!' part of the show, knowing it would stress him out and she enjoyed it and laughed when it did, but then it was not.
It is a really bland show.
Anne has been chosen by the public to do the bush tucker trial so that proves people are irritated with her being given a pass to not do them. The moment she is allowed to participate, she is chosen!
In all honesty, I thought it was awful she went to the feast tonight. If I was her size, I'd have said look I've got lots to live on here, Nick you are getting absolutely gaunt, you go to the feast. Instead she said nothing and ate so much. Surely she went into this in part, to try to lose weight. Same as her friend Mark on the chase has been doing various weight loss shows. I don't know, but that was the fairest option and it was up to her to enforce it, and she said nothing. She does the least, she could have at least offered to be the one to have rice and beans. But she didn't. I find her quite selfish now, and I'm dreading tomorrow because I don't enjoy her trials she makes everything a huge big deal. She's not in the right show. If they do the same thing to Anne as they did to Iain, they will give her a very easy one. He was suffering last year with depression esp after failing at the swim task and not getting 1 star, then he got 11 stars as they gave him such a joke of a task. We will see. Either way, I'm not looking forward to it.
Holly needs to start being more professional and stop bringing personal gripes from a couple of years ago into this show too. It's causing a really nasty tension whenever she's around Noel, and she just loves to goad him. She's not the best presenter, she's only got the gig cus of her big producer hubby, so she needs to just chill and think how lucky she is before she makes waves just because she doesn't agree with Noel's beliefs.

You've got to bare in mind that Ann wouldn't think in the same way you or I do. She's on the autistic spectrum. As someone with family members who are the same, I understand it a little better...
I personally think she's coping amazingly well. Yeah, she has to be ruled out of many trials, but each day in there is a trial in itself for someone like her.
She definitely wouldn't realise or even consider giving up her spot at the feast for someone else. It wouldn't cross her mind.
Asperger's is a name given to high functioning autism with specific traits. Asperger's is classed as part of the autistic spectrum. Although never used to be.
So yes saying someone has Asperger's, which Anne has is correct. No need to class it as just Autism though...as again the traits are there.
It's not losing its name just because it's part of the autistic spectrum. After all autism is clearly a spectrum diagnosis. If you know one person with autism, you know one person.

What happened with holly and Noel?
Had to do a post about this! I don't normally watch it but this year I think will be great! Who do you think will win or is it too early to say. My heart goes out to Anne, she cried the first time they got to camp as she was overwhelmed and honestly I don't blame her!
also how they are allowed to give them just a tiny bag of beans and rice and call it a meal after all they went thru that day?
Considering they are surrounded by lush green vegetation, I'd be reading up all about wild edibles before going there and making fresh salads every day! lol
Holly made a few live blunders and I'm not taking to her, Dec outshines her in every way, but maybe she'll settle in.

Agreed that Dec is the main role but it’s big shoes to fill for Holly.
Think Anne will be a massive underdog and the U.K. public like that, she seemed annoyed she couldn’t be eligible for the task.
Also think Harry might suprise people and get stuck in. Seems an older cast this year. Allegedly Olivia Attwood is flying in who I would LOVE to be on it as she’s hilarious
