Before kids, we rarely ever argued. After kids? LOL.
I've definitely heard that it is more worrying if a couple never argues. That generally signals that there is no care there. It does make sense in my opinion, if you don't care, then there is no argument to be had. It takes passion and a want for things to be settled, for an argument to happen in the first place! If you don't want that, you don't care enough to fight about it. Am I making any sense? My friend is like this with her partner. I don’t like arguing but I do think it’s almost necessary sometimes - and I like the fact that myself and my partner are comfortable enough with each other to do it without fear.
We're the same, if it is just little "tiffs" then that's fairly regularly. Big arguments are few and far betweenDepends what is classed as an argument. We can bicker about ridiculous things on the daily, flare up but flare down just as quickly.. or every now and again have raging hum dingers where we're getting divorceda lot of it is having a 2yr old and a 20yr old in the house to deal with.
I think it depends on what you argue about, how you feel during and what happens after. My ex, we would row loads about some really shitty things, I felt scared at times when we argued as he would smash things up and I once thought he was going to hit me. Afterwards there was never any attempt to clear the air. So I left him. My husband, we argue over ridiculous things such as mess and occasionally over more serious things but I always feel safe and we always make up with no resentment. So it's not the amount we argue that worries me.It’s interesting, how many arguments/disagreements does it take to maybe think you’re not meant to be? What makes you stay? This is in no means judgey! Just genuinely interested, we’ve been together nearly a decade but not sure I could stick it if we argued a lot but that’s my personal preference
My partner “huffs off” in argument. I just let him go. I’m not chasing him about like a 15 year old. I used to but now I refuse. Ridiculous behaviour. Now when he has a princess moment I enjoy the peace and quiet while he is gone.I feel like we’re “in” an argument at least 50% of the time - whenever we do argue it lasts WEEKS. I’m not even kidding, he will walk out and not come back for days, and then he’ll come back - we’ll argue again and then won’t speak for another week or so. Good job I don’t mind being on my own and it doesn’t really even bother me anymore.
My sister never argues with her husband but instead bottles it all up and he just goes around wondering what he's done! I've told her to tell him but she says 'I don't like arguing'!Just wondering really. I see some couples saying that they never argue.... ever. Can this really be true?!

Yes. She's witnessed my husband and I arguing and says she hates it and she would cry if her husband argued with her! Each to their own but I think bottling it up is much worse.
