House and sunlight

I've not long moved into mine. My garden is north facing and luckily gets lots of sun but inside my house is so dark (only the front bedroom gets light streaming in) and I hate it. Definitely not silly

Ok so I live in a good area, house is a decent size

I get the sun in my garden from 9-1pm. But a few houses down gets the sun all day

I really want to move because I want to be able to enjoy sun in my garden

am I being silly?

I don’t think so, my house is the exact same and I hate it! Definitely going to look for a house with a south facing garden when I move.
