Dumbbells with weight plates up to 20kg, exercise bike, resistance bands and a kettlebell. I’ve cancelled my gym member ship because I have everything I need.
I know it isn’t, and that’s not what I said. Squats and lunges will begin to build muscle which will help tone them. Calorie deficit will help to reduce fat.Unfortunately that's not true, you can't choose where you loose fat based on a certain exercise which a lot of people think.
Equipment is so expensive at the moment if it's even in stock. Marketplace is a good place to keep an eye out for stuff but it depends what you enjoy doing and want to achieve. Body weight workouts with resistance bands are a good place to start if your struggling to get a hold of anything, plenty of YouTube videos too!
I've built up some kit over lockdown but I won't be returning to the gym when restrictions lift because I can do the bulk of it at home with weights and my spin bike. I'd like a treadmill in the distant future but I can't justify the prices for a new one at the moment!
We’ve got a barbell and dumbbell set from Argos and a couple of kettlebells. Have picked them up over lockdowns keeping an eye on the website, as stuff comes in and out of stockWhat home workout equipment do you have?
What do you use regularly/recommend?
What have you purchased and regret buying?
Feeling really out of shape at the moment - particularly my bum and tummy, and don’t know where to start!

if you’re not exercising regularly, you don’t necessarily need equipment, there’s so much stuff on YouTube completely free.
ultimately eat less, move more will help you lose weight. Body weight exercises like squats, lunges will help to start toning your legs, but weights are not necessary if you’re starting out![]()
