Cilla Black managed nearly 20 years on Surprise! Surprise! From 1984 to 2001, with a one off return in 2003.

How long did Holly's version last?

Just Three years, from 2012 to 2015.

Why do they have to keep relying on the same faces over and over.

I'd prefer this came back with Matthew Kelly as host. However, ITV are clearly adverse to 'old and wrinkly' people on their rather limited presenting rota.

Stephen does Catchphrase, Deal or No Deal, and now You Bet!

Talk about overkill!
And In For A Penny.

She's got the hide of a rhino Holly, to show her face on Saturday Night TV again. I thought she was going to break the US?

How revolutionary of ITV to introduce a brand new theme tune to their brand new prime time Saturday night show...Well, sort of brand new. preloved really. Up a Gumtree.

I think my point was along the lines of ITV keep bringing back these old shows. However, they lack the charm of the original series.

Mulhern's reiteration of Catchphrase, for example, is not a patch on the Roy Walker version of near 40 to 25 years ago (Roy did 1986 to 1999, until he was dumped by ITV). Despite the upgraded graphics and better prizes. In many cases it is the host (and contestants) that make a show.

Also back in the olden days, you rarely had the same faces crop up over and over, on half a dozen concurrent shows.

The other problem is that back in the day most contestants were very genuine, endearing, and almost shy. Nowadays quite a few contestants treat their appearance as an audition for something, or are there to plug their podcast.

On holiday AGAIN, Holls? Hope the queues at the airport weren't too long for you this time.

What a life!

Escaping the horrendous show reviews? An early Christmas turkey of a show.

Hope the flight wasn't too choppy for traumatised Holly? I wouldn't fancy all that turbulence.

What a pointless waste of people’s time guessing the board game from tipping the box contents out on a table
