The word you're looking for is 'groomed'. He 'groomed' her ... rather than 'trained' her. But I take your point.

there was definitely a gradual distancing which started after his coming out, and her leaving YMU

She’s a try hard person which makes her difficult to like. Everything she does is with a squeaky clean imagine in mind which again just doesn’t wash.

I just couldn't warm to her after she had 2 very different personas on This Morning and then on Celeb Juice. Then Phil started going on there om Holly's team and it was just so u professional and seemed like he was trying to be young and cool and the whole thing was just odd. I wasn't a fan of that show tbh but they would be all holier than thou and super professional on TM and on juice just seemed like scraping the barrel.

Looks odd that her legs are really tanned but her arms, neck and face are pale 😳 Definitely the other way round for me, my legs never tan but everywhere else does 😅

I’ve never liked Willoughby. I was in the studio audience for CD:UK in the early 2000s. Off-camera, she came across and very arrogant and you could tell that people working around her were not comfortable…. At this point she was still D List famous.

I am surprised that This Morning returned, this would have been a good opportunity to revamp ITV daytime (and get rid of the Loose Witches too). If this current blind item is true, ITV will find themselves in an awkward situation.

Friend of mine was at a live taping of celebrity juice years and years ago , said exactly the same thing.

Once the camera wasn’t rolling she was a stuck up cow apparently

A lot of people who work in 'da meeja' are stuck-up and entitled. It's bizarre to me because what they actually do is essentially worthless. I don't really have the same problem with, for example, consultants in hospitals who, in my experience, can be quite arrogant ... they save people's lives for crying out loud! Exceptions can me made. Reading an autocue? duck off.

Just started watching the new series of The Morning Show and it got me thinking that if Holly channelled her inner Jennifer Aniston she might be in a different situation now. Missed opportunity when now she is the joke

100% agree. She needed to take 6 months off, go with a show completely different to TM. I think that new Davina McCall show wound have suited her. Instead she's left on a sinking ship.
On a seperate note, herself and Craig just don't gel. I'd get Ben shepherd in.

Wonderfully articulated. I agree. She just isn't suited, in my opinion, to a daytime audience. She fails to empathise with people who are at home all day and who might be unemployed or have disabilities or who are old and housebound etc. I think because she was quite mumsy before people thought she'd be a good fit but her and PS held their audience in contempt and very much looked down on them. Case in point - Spin to Win. They were actively nasty to the old dears who couldn't get the words out. The Wyld Moon shite hasn't taken off either because she is unwilling to show any vulnerability. And she's unwilling to show vulnerability because her and her husband live in a house of cards that could come crashing down at any moment
