Help Please - Facebook Account Disabled

Yesterday my Facebook account was permanently disabled and I can't seem to do anything about it. I was asked to prove my identity with a video of my face. I followed the steps and submitted the image and then my account was disabled with no right of appeal. I've tried contacting FB to appeal their decision but I've had no response. I rely on Facebook to keep in touch with my friends and family. I'm English but currently living in Canada and all of my family and most of my friends are in the UK. Since I'm old and live alone, such contact is very important to me.

Can anyone offer any advice? I've already posted on the advice thread here but thought more people would see it here. Thanks in advance.

Just make a new one and add all your friends and family again . Also get a friend to tag and share your new Facebook on their feed explaining this is your new one.

Okay, so this is what's happened. I tried several times to open a new account using new name e-mail address, etc., etc. and each time the account was disabled. I tried again using my phone instead of my laptop to register and have managed to open a new account using a slightly difference name than my own. I'm now in the process of trying to contact friends and family again, but FB's not making it easy.
