I use the Freeview app when searching for programs, as it’s easier than using the remote on the TV. But the channel numbers on the app don’t match the TV. I have retuned the TV, checked the location on both TV and app, and reinstalled the app.

Is this Samsung Tv plus? Because if so they are internet channels that aren’t the same as Freeview. If you have a TV aerial this will be the correct channels, could you add a screenshot of your tv guide?
Not a Samsung and not internet channels just the standard. Quest, Dave bbc itv all the 4’s etc. it is aerial not internet

Yes, quite happy to use another if any one could recommend. I was using Tv guide, but the search was really flaky.
Have you checked the app is set to the correct region? Are all the channels mismatched? The Freeview/TV Guide plus is the one most people use. There’s also UK TV Guide but I haven’t used that one.
Yep checked region, even tried changing. Not all channels, which is why I was confused

Thank(space)you for taking the time. It’s a 1st world problem. I have also discovered that the 5 app does have a local network setting.
