This is my first post here but felt the need to comment as it seems like she's copying another person.

I've noticed that she is following Jessica Megan on instagram and it does look like she is trying very hard to be like her especially with this new video where she has curly hair and barely any clothes on. It's very Jessica.

Maybe it's just me but there are definite similarities especially with Helens new found love for brandishing vibrators like she's Harry Potter with his wand.

VIDEO SUMMARY: 10 ways to boost your Confidence PERMANENTLY

Sitting and wiggling around her chair in her some red pants, a crop top and curly hair which makes her look 10 years older.... why? because PERMANENT CONFIDENCE!

1.png

We're going to learn about how she's soooooo confident, she's well flattered that people keep asking her how she's soooooo confident.

She's trained herself to get over certain things.

She condones getting a tan, putting on make up, doing X, Y and Z to boost your confidence. But today she wants to talk about long term tings

1. STOP RESTRICTING YOURSELF BY "SOCIETY'S" STANDARDS
Says the influencer who face tunes her face, tells people what they should buy just because she has an affiliate link etc.
"Stop telling yourself you can't do things because of your age, because you might be a parent, because of your profession, of where you live, you're life style - these are all barriers that you are putting up for yourself"

She hears it all the time "I can't do that cos of X, Y and Z"

And like her opinion of lock down.... it's all bullshit. It don't matter how old you are etc duck it and do what you want, wear what you want, wear your hair and make up whatever way you want...... and she says her famous catchphrase "JUST DO IT!"

"Tailor to what you consume online to how it makes you feel"

"eg. if there's accounts on IG that make you feel crappy about yourself.... mute or unfollow"

She was late to the party and says she's only just started following accounts that she feels inspired by and people who she thinks "yeaaaaah we'll get along, we're cut from the same cloth"

She's unfollowed people that she doesn't vibe with - I wonder how many influencers she's ditched lolol

2.png

2. WALK AROUND NAKED MORE OFTEN!!!!!!!

She yells to the camera. She purposely did this video in her "favorite lounge undies" as they're sooooo comfortable. She starts shuffling around in her chair again like she has ants in her pants...

3.png

She feels great in them and tells us to "wear less clothing around more people!"

And now she's reminiscing about the first time her and her friends all got naked together - they all got a spray tan together (together?!) and forgot they all had to get naked. And it was an eye opening experience for her because she's not seen people naked before and was shocked to find "oh my god! we allll look the same!"

Tells us to be around people in our pants. Because PERMANENT CONFIDENCE!

But just don't go out in public, cos that's too far - you got to "do it legally!"

4.png

She loves dancing in the mirror in just her pants "lettin' it all jiggle n wiggle" (more butt wiggling in her chair, all this wiggling just makes her look like she's desperate for a pee)

Sometimes she'll even have "a butt wiggle sesh!"

Number 4.... wait what happened to 3???

4. LOOK AFTER YOURSELF

"That doesn't mean to sound patronizing"

"Have fun with your food and eat what you want but make sure that it's somewhat balanced"

"I LOVE FOOD, I LOVE DRINKING" The first step is admitting it Quirkz, "I I I I it, it, It gives me joy, I talk about it allll the time!"

"I'm such a food PORN" - wait what? "I LOVE IT!"

But she also likes to make sure she's eating healthy and nutritious stuff.

She loves to move a lot and do exercise - its not essential but it makes her feel good

Tells us to pamper yourself and have a Saturday morning bath, paint yer nails, spend a bit more time on yer skin care

5. DRESS UP FOR THE MUDANE
(Why we telling people they have to dress up now after going on about people having the freedom to wear what they want, when they want?)

"Wear someting a little bit extra to the supa marrrrket"

"Wear your FUR COAT to do yer errands in" - FUR coat? Are you kidding me?

Says we gotta make the "EXTRA" normal because it will then make it easier to dress extra "as it were"

"You make THAT your normal. DON'T EVEN QUESTION IT"

Again.... why is she telling us what to wear when she literally said dress however the duck you want, why is she pushing us all to be extra all of a sudden??

"If you can go to Tesco in a sparkly sequin leotard" she laughs manically, just like everyone else in Tesco's would, "and PLATFORM shoes, and a FUR coat, and over sized sunglasses, just to get a pint o milk - ABSOLUTELY DO IT!!!"

"If you turn some heads? WINNER!"

6. THINK ABOUT WHAT MAKES YOU INSECURE AND WHY - AND THEN CHALLENGE IT

Says she's insecure about things but she's only that way because she's been MADE to feel that way from a LIFETIME of being shown the "perfect body" or the "perfect face" (says the person who still bleeping loooooooooves to facetune her pie hole)

"That's somewhat an element of brainwashing" Says the INFLUENCER.

"And that's not our problem" Goes on about her spots and says people don't notice them unless you point them out (which isn't actually true....)

If people point out anything that you're insecure about then you need to think to yourself "are these the kind of people you want to spend your time with"

7. (And she means this in the nicest way) NO ONE CARES

"no one cares what you're wearing, no one cares what you look like" ......again, says the make up and fashion INFLUENCER.

"no one cares that you gained 6 pounds"

5.png

(except when you try to be a body confidence influencer but constantly lie to your audience that you've magically been a size 14 for 7 years)

Says she's had her fair share of heads being turned when she walks down the street at some of the garish tit she's worn and thinks that these people are thinking "oh cool" "oh interesting!"

8. MAKE AN UPLIFTING PLAY LIST AND DANCE TO IT

Says if she feels crappy then she puts on her happy playlist, usually in her underwear "It's not all about loving what you're in, its just about loving life in general"

"there's wayyyy more to life that...." Jiggles in her chair again, why? "wayyy more to life! Just enjoy it!" (ah more just do it!)

9. THINK ABOUT THE REPERCUSSION OF WEARING OR DOING SOMETHING THAT YOU LOVE

"SPOILER ALERT!" She yells, "THERE ARE NONE!" (so you go out in that sequin leotard in the middle of winter you Quirky fucks!)

She's repeating the start of the video about getting asked sooo many times about how she has the confidence to wear what she wears etc.. is this video literally about having the PERMANENT confidence to wear bleeping clothes?

The answer is: She has confidence because she knows it's something that she wants to do.

She does what she does because she knows that nothing is going to come of it, and that nothing BAD ever happens, there's no repercussions for her wearing her favorite dress, her WACKY coat, her Elton John style sunglasses, "literally nothing happens" except for her feeling happy in her little Helen bubble, not giving a duck.

10. STOP COMPARING YOURSELF

Wait didn't we cover this earlier? Are we just going around in circles again?

"I did touch upon this on a previous point" ah she's run out of tips and is going back lol

Tells us again to stop comparing ourselves to people online

"we have been FILTRATED with images growing up. Movie stars, of actresses, of models, of people in magazines" (.....not gonna add social media influencers?)

Goes on about how it's not normal, same tit as earlier and tells us we need to surround ourselves with ALL TYPES of people....

Says she still compares herself to others..... not really a permanent solution then, is it Helz?

Tells us we need to be grateful for what we do have.

Just sitting here eagerly awaiting Luna's review because I can not bring myself to listen to the same shite Helen's been peddling on "body confidence" for the past year 🤓

Edit: Luna you read my mind 😍

Helen again failing to construct basic sentences. Making up/misusing words all over the shop. That's Quirkerz! How many drinks do we think she had before she filmed this one?

Just touching on what she said about thinking you can’t do/wear something “because you’re a parent”. I’m not a parent but it does bother me that she’s brought that up along with her response to the single mother in the advice video. I feel like that’s a whole different ball game, there’s so many factors that affect why you might be unconfident in your image once you become a mother. All the physical body changes you can’t control (like stretch marks and scars) and the pressure to look how you did before having a baby to look after (like upkeep of hair, nails, makeup, etc). There’s a million other factors too like unsupportive partners, the effects lack of sleep on your mental health, etc. I mean her confidence advice in general is shoddy but I wish she would stop trying to address parents and leave it to the mommy bloggers.

I just love how she told people that we shouldn't be told what to wear...... and then tells people what they should wear 🤣

That video was just so underwhelming and felt rushed? She literally missed a whole point???
It would have been much better if she'd maybe done 5 points, made them way more in depth, maybe showed examples and didn't claim these were permanent. It also showed how out of touch she is because a lot of those points don't work for regular people, for example people who have work uniforms or work in a profession where their online presence needs to be kept professional.

I personally wouldn't take advice from someone who can't just own their clothing size and has to lie about it constantly
Also why does being confident have to mean wearing ugly extra clothes to tesco - full body sequin leotards,

Helen is the last person who should be giving advice about being confident because she isn't - she's one of the most insecure, needy, desperate people I've ever observed. She'll be doing another video about what a super sensitive people pleaser she is in a couple of weeks time. She constantly flips between 'I'm soooo confident and don't give a toss what anyone thinks' and 'I'm so sensitive and live in fear of doing the wrong thing and upsetting people'. She's tragic.

Actually the thing that bothers me is that she obviously filmed this today - which means that she's done yet another rush job on filming / editing just to upload it and it doesn't sound like much actual planning goes into her videos at all - the script was repetitive and she missed out number 3 and the advice was just..... the same Quirkerz bullshit "just do it". I bet she barely even watched it during editing, like she cut herself off when she said "I am such a food porn" a food porn what?? where was that point even going?? why???

Why were half the points fashion related and the other points just about being naked? Where are the baby steps? Why are we going in whole hog? Why do we have to wear a fur coat? And WHY do we have to be in our underwear around people more????

I am so confused by all the gushing comments she gets from her fans in regards to her content - you must be very easily pleased if Helen's lazy, samey content is 'the highlight of the week' etc. And I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who thinks she's someone to look up to or take advice from.

I'm sure most just see the thumb nail and title and comment based on that. I don't think they actually watch the whole thing as they're too busy typing out the perfect gushing comment 🤣

Big clue is the comments that happen 3 minutes after the 10 minute video is uploaded lol
