I could never get one. I think these things do more bad than good especially mental wellbeing wise. I know someone who has already become so obssessive about it.

I don’t think I’d even want to know. To be honest though, some of those amounts are supermarkets, we need food and toiletries. One thing I try not to worry about is the cost of my food bill, it’s as low as it can be without us going without essentials and I’m happy with that. I make a lot of sacrifices, but decent meals aren’t one of them!

my McDonald’s one would probably be shocking though, I get fries probably once a week and hash browns about twice!😂

I don’t really buy clothes, other than when I get gift vouchers or birthday money, so I don’t think I’d be shocked by those.

I think seeing total spend over your lifetime would probably be more damaging than helpful!

Weekly budgeting is much more reasonable thing to do. You'd be shocked even during a week how much groceries etc can cost with the occasional nip to the shop just to get "a few things"

I don’t want to know what we spent in Tesco last year. It’s been a tit year with nowhere to go so we were eating like kings 😂

In some cases ignorance really is bliss. Wouldn’t mind seeing mine from my early 20s when it was all designer bits and London bars!
