At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning...

That is, without doubt, the most cringeworthy load of crap I've seen in a long time.

I don't know what's worse - Harry's fake 'shock' face, or Markles endless self promotion...'generational curse' my arse.

William is stealthily becoming the prime mover in Prince Andrew's downfall in the press, whereas his father was prime mover before. Whether this is true in real life we don't know.

William has apparently never forgiven PA for being "unwelcoming" to Catherine when she was introduced into the RF. Probably just PA being his normal rude self, and not serious. William has allegedly nursed this grievance for about 16 years, only for it to surface now PA's down and out. It's reported that William was instrumental in removing PA from his office at BP, and efforts now to get him out of Royal Lodge. Reports floated that he and Catherine might live there but I don't believe it. It won't be for Camilla, it can't be rented, so who?

Conversely, his grievance against his stepmother for the Sun exclusive on him a year after his mother died is water under the bridge. Ditto her efforts to split him up with Catherine because Catherine wasn't good enough. These were serious.
He now depends on Camilla and trusts her completely, according to the press.

I don't believe any of this, and William must be careful not to be a shield for his father in untruths and spin.

PA announced his daughters deserved special treatment because they are “the only blood princesses,” I think he forgot about his sister and niece.
it explains why Eugenie was so rude to Catherine…such a Daddy’s girl

Someone a page or two back said Harold was spelling Granny wrong. But that is how we spell it over here in the UK so for once he was right.
Indeed, 'Granny' is how it's spelt in much of the UK.

North of the border though it's as likely to be spelt 'Grannie'. Scots have an ancient preference for using 'ie' where the English would use 'y' at the end of a name or even some words still.
I'm 'Grannie' to all my grandchildren - who each have Gaelic names spelt in ways that are incomprehensible and unpronounceable to Sassenachs!

Given the important Scottish lineage of the BRF, 'Grannie' may well have been favoured amongst the family.

(Excellent thread title, thanks to @JAR21 and to @DanDanTheIceCreamMan for putting up the new thread!)

That's it. He is MAD.

Who's to say the Stoat won't be in a padded cell by the time the shoebox comes of age? IG is not his to give or hand down like a family heirloom. It belongs to the veterans.
One reader said the Stoats are being investigated for the theft / misuse of 24% of the Dusseldorf IG funds of 30M. Don't know if this is true.

Daily Express
"It is claimed the Duke of Sussex is keen for the legacy of the Invictus Games to remain in his immediate family and be passed on to his son, Prince Archie, when he reaches maturity."

"Speaking exclusively to the Sunday Express, a source revealed: "A patronage will one day be passed to Archie so the foundation can be kept within the family. Harry is adamant that the Invictus Games will remain a Sussex initiative."
....................

On the basis that the Stoats are bound to cock up soon and the thread will leap into action, congratulations @Cacacoisfarraige a bit in advance on your VIP!

What Harry is trying to do is create a royal patronage. He can't do that. Only the monarch can create or give a patronage. This is Harry trying to elevate himself on the same level as his father. Invictus is not his and he could be tossed out on his butt at any time. The board just has to tell him to scram and that might be coming given what his wife has done with the games with her exhibitionism.

I think that they thought that people would buy their lies and stories and bring the Monarchy to a point where they would beg for the Harkles to be back. Then they would, but only in their terms where the ILBW would be treated as the most important person on the hierarchy. It's so naive and stupid, but I honestly think it's their IQ's that make them self implode continuously.

The level of self importance and insane entitlement is off the scale! Invictus is not his gift to give. Jesus.

I am LOVING the sudden change in the PR fluff pieces.

"Meghan wants reconciliation" I'll bet she does.
Her husband is spending millions of her his money on inane court cases. Lots of You-tube Barristers are making a second income pointing out just how flawed his cases are, and yet Hazno still perseveres.
He has potentially perverted of the course of justice ( a serious crime worthy of a prison sentence) with his alleged lying to court/destroying evidence.
ARO cannot seem to attract investors, (despite her own "bestie" Serena having a multi million $ venture Investment Fund for business start ups! Serena Venture Investments. ) Perhaps Meghan's business plan is failing to impress?
Netflix deal is hanging by a thread, Spotify deal is a bust
Oprah is - apparently - shitting herself and seems to have distanced (or did she silence herself?!) and there is ACTUAL distancing from almost everyone else who matters in the A-lister world. From A++ world leaders - head of states to head of churches - to Beckham to Swift, via Blake Lively & Gwyneth Paltrow. Hell, even Ivanka Trump. In fact, it was an A-lister pile on to pledge support to the Princess of Wales.

Oh - and the latest ESPY award has turned to utter PR shite.

"Harry misses his home and wants to come back" ( Not so sure about this, if there is weed on tap, and no annoying courtiers to pester him!)

But when that hasn't worked...

"Harry might write another book"

Is someone in Montecito shitting bricks? (UK expression for being very overwhelmed or scared!)

My theory? - and it is only a theory. They have been told they are losing their diplomat status visas. Possibly they have known this for some time,/ they were given notice about this, but maybe the reality has only just sunk in? They originally scored such mega deals, it perhaps didn't register until recently that they were on a tick- tock time o' clock where they would no longer "represent" the Crown. ( hence the need to buy any old awards to "prove" his specialness for a 0-1 Visa for Individuals with Exceptional Ability) Or maybe this was just their ego's? Or even their genuine talent. .. Who knows?

It would be interesting if the whole Visa debacle on "whether he lied on his application" was a strategic sideline to sharpen their focus? But place your bets that the Diplomatic Visa expiration date is looming. I'd bet on "imminent".

But perhaps even more importantly - what's the betting that losing diplomatic status has massive tax implications?
Oh dear!

Which brings us neatly back around to the Puff pieces on looking for a residence tax status in the UK.

Thing is, is she still under the ( tax) umbrella of diplomat visa too?

My own truths and observations only. Feel free to validate or silence your own victimhoods.
