Speaking of state function I went down the rabbit hole of sugar. I looked at the page mentioned a few times on here and was left rather... bemused.
It's so bizarre, and oftentimes downright hilarious.

Below one of the comments on a post about the fact that H & M were uninvited to the function.

I agree with all you said. They are classy. So is Princess Anne. Infact she shows even more decorum than them. Nonetheless, she has an interesting personality which I miss on the two of them. Princess of Wales has nothing on Princess Anne when it comes to intelligence and sharpness.

Yes you are 100% correct. Catherine will never fill her role as Princess of Wales the way Diana did.

Catherine won’t be throwing herself down a staircase while pregnant
Catherine won’t be having affairs with married men.
Catherine won’t be slagging off her husband in internationally televised “interviews”

She is nothing like Princess Diana, thank the Lord.

HMQ had such a beautiful smile and in all the pics of her they're showing lately, she is smiling in every single one.

The only pic I can remember seeing of her not smiling was at the harkles wedding where she had a grim look.

Can’t remember if I put this in the thread before but my daughter in law has it confirmed that she will be working the funeral. She works at the Abbey. She has to stay over at Westminster School tonight for a 5am start. She’s very nervous, but goodness what an opportunity. . She really will be at the heart of it all

Catherine and Diana - both intelligent, beautiful ladies.

However Diana did have her demons. Catherine seems a lot more stable /grounded.

Also, if they are so desperate for the Sussexes to leave the UK and the toxic RF that actually tried to kill Archie (the fire story) why are they so obsessed with them being front and centre at the state events, get the royal titles and the royal jewellery?
One of them even suggested they should go to the will reading with their private lawyer in case they get stitched up.
