I bought some off Amazon for around £6, thinning ones though but I’m sure they’d have normal ones. The brand is called ‘Essoy’. I use them on my sons hair (shoulder length and vey thick) and they’re brilliant

I have some hairdressing scissors and thinning scissors cos I dabble in doing my own hair too. I just bought fairly generic ones. I think eBay probably sell them . Are you wanting to start with low cost ones ?
With use , the scissors likely end up blunt and needing sharpened.

People who work professionally as hairdressers likely put more thought into their scissors and they come in different sizes and spend a lot of money on them and look after them with regular maintenance. Yosaka are a brand with a good reputation.

After a recommendation for some scissors to cut my hair with. For the last couple of years I’ve been cutting my own hair but am using really old small blunt scissors.
Help me ✂🙏🏼

Thanks for the reply. I'm like you just wanting a cheapish pair that can do the job. I'm not looking to cut other peoples hair but just my own ends without damaging my hair.
I just can't justify paying £90 at the moment for a trim, not even a restyle
