Sorry if there's a thread already on this - couldn't find one.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced random hair loss and am looking for some advice.
For the last 6 / 7 months I've suffered hair loss and now its getting noticeable.
I've had bloods taken (no issues), eat well and am 28 (not been pregnant or going through menopause).
Its stressing me out so much and I'm spending a fortune on hair care / vitamins etc but haven't noticed a difference 😔.
Looking to see if anyone has any recommendations from similar experience? Thanks 😊

Hey, so sorry you’re experiencing this. Genuinely, in the kindest way possible, I’d seek a trichologist and quite possibly a dietitian or nutritionist in conjunction. Could possibly be something easily fixed like adding more of certain nutrients/ maybe currently more stressed?/ hair routine/ hair products etc but taking vits…not necessarily needed if eating balanced …I’d seek the people that likely know best. Xx

I second seeing a trichologist and make sure it’s an accredited one.
There can be numerous reasons for hairloss and some are none reversable so the quicker you can get it sorted the better x

Thank you so much for your responses! I've had bloods taken with the Dr, however, just found a trichologist who can analyse in more detail for hair loss so this is definitely something I'll look into 💜

Were you stressed a few months ago? I recently had some hair loss about 6 months after a really stressful period in my life. My doctor told me that stress can show up as physical pain and/or hair loss within 6 months.
Best of luck with everything ♥

I haven't tbh - so hard to pinpoint what's been causing it. Sorry to hear about the stressful time you had - have you noticed an improvement in your hair loss?xx

I'm also 28 and noticed my hair started thinning a couple of years ago so I started using regaine for women and this has really worked for me. I noticed my hair starting to grow back after a few weeks use and I had less shedding after a few days use. It is quite expensive but it has worked for me.

Oh definitely, it's stopped now! Looking a bit thicker and longer again.
That's amazing 😊 hoping I'll be the same in a few months.

Thank you! Will give this a try. I bought Nioxin yesterday too so hoping at least one will work lol 🤞

I had this the first few months of the pandemic. I started using Viviscal and Florisene, I alternate them (taking one lot one week and then the other the next). I tried various shampoos and scalp treatments but they didn’t work. The supplements do appear to have helped a lot.
I bought a set of Nioxin stuff but hated it - it made my hair horrible and seemed to have no effect on the shedding.
