Hair falling out

So I’ve been bleaching my hair for around 6ish years now, possibly longer, and over the summer I’ve noticed my hair has become noticeably thin.
Is anyone able to recommend me some products? Also thoughts on hair extensions, are they worth the money, are they really that damaging?
I’m desperate at this point and want to buy products recommend to me rather than what google is telling me to buy🙂
Thanks!

No more bleach.... it sounds like your hair is too far gone, it doesn’t sound like it’s falling out but it’s just breaking off? The only way to fix this is to stop chemical processes, stay well away from hair extensions any extra weight will just further the problem in my opinion, just let your hair regenerate from the new growth. You can try some deep keratin treatments at home, take a look at Kevin.Murphy repair me range. But the more chemicals you put on your hair it will just be damaging further regardless of the amount of treatments you do, a good hair cut is also a plus too! Difficult to really say when you can’t see or feel someone hair.
But do t waste your money on vitamin or quick fixes, they don’t work, this is a journey now girl x good luck!

Stop the bleach and a definite no to extensions. Rather invest in a really good wig (I’m talking a few hundred to £1000). You can cut your hair short to start it’s recovery and then wear the wig.
Extensions are expensive so a wig will eventually work out cheaper

Thank you! Would you say to steer clear of using clip in extensions as well? X

I had it cut to my shoulders and it’s grown a lot, but still finding it falling out, might have to go shorter and just get it over and done with

I would stay away from any type of extension, clip in included as it’s just extra weight on already fragile hair. At least until you have enough of your natural coming through to attach them onto only xx

My hair is falling out too 😔 and breaking. But I think it’s linked to me coming off of the pill

Agree with what others have said, ditch the bleach.

Idk if this will help you but a couple of years ago my hair was getting really thin and my friend recommended this hair oil from the body shop which you use before you wash your hair. I think they recommend about 5 minutes, but I personally feel like it works better if you use it for at least an hour before you wash your hair. It took about a month of using it twice a week for me to notice my hair was getting thicker again. It's just a bit annoying spending ages washing it out later.

My hair fell out a lot and I put it down to being anaemic - have a google but I also found myself super tired, dizzy etc and so I started taking Holland and Barrett gentle iron. 6 weeks on and I feel better and my hair is growing (I’ve got so much baby hair!) which I’m so relieved at.

I didn’t realise how common hair loss was with low iron but I would brush my hair or wash it and I would have so much fall out. I cut my hair short, I wash every 3 days so not as often and it’s done wonders. I use Philip Kingsley Elactizer too once or twice a week to help strengthen it as it grows

Try and stay away from extensions!
