hey everyone so
it’s my 21st birthday coming up and i want to get some hair extensions put in. my last experience wasn’t brill as i was a practice head for my friend getting her qualification so they weren’t exactly the best. i don’t have the thickest hair and had nano bonds but i’m looking at getting tape ins. i work out quite a lot and also ride horses so wear a helmet - hence why the nano were quite comfortable.
does anyone have any experiences with extensions and what have you found is best?
thank youuuu🤪

I have had nano rings and a weave. I found the nano rings to be the best by far in all areas and look a lot better too. I always opt for Remi Cachet hair and whilst its not the cheapest it is great quality and lasts for ages. I get just under a year out of mine before I have a new set in. I do look after it carefully though, pretty much the same as I do my own hair. My actual hair is pretty long and thick, I only had extensions due to some small but noticeable alopecia patches that made me feel so self conscious. They haven't damaged my hair at all and I think put less strain on my roots than a weft/weave did. they also look better when goring out than my weave did.
I haven't had any other methods but think ill be sticking with nanos for the foreseeable future!

I have nanos and find them comfortable. I have quite fine hair so was conscious you could see them but apparently not!

I have fine hair, lots of it but very fine. It's been called baby hair by the hairdresser before so you get the picture. It's past my shoulders.
I have nano rings and love them. I have them in about twice a year and then a break in between.
You can recycle the extensions
I do a lot of swimming and used to horse ride. Nanos are fine but I'd only have 50 to 70 extensions in max for the first time. This is less than half a head.
Any more than this it'll be tricky with a helmet and takes ages to dry.

I have nano ring extensions and they’re perfect for me! But everyone is different, my best friend has always had glue in hair extensions but due to the damage of her hair she’s had beauty works tapes for the last couple of years and she said she would never go back now, she said they’re sooo comfortable! Not as thick as it was when she had glued in ones but still looks absolutely beautiful 🥰

I have tape ins. I bought them on amazon (read the review & you'll find good quality ones). I do them myself at home. The hair is reusable and I just change the tapes every 8 weeks. I whole taking them out, re tape & put them back in is very time consuming so I do it over a weekend. I watched youtube videos to learn how to put them in & re tape them. I've had these almost 2 years now, still look great.

Tape in hair for me every time. So easy and discreet. Just make sure you use a silicone free shampoo and conditioner to stop them moving once they're in
