I’d actually report it to the police rather than the girl. If there’s no law broken, they should keep it on file. This is disgusting behaviour.

Failing that I’d obscure her name and out them, personally.

Watch the documentary Audrey and Daisy. The boys have a similar private chat. Only they do it.

That is making threats to harm someone using a public communication network. Please report it to the Police.

Thank you all so much with your help on this. I’ve actually raised it with my dad as he helped with the Warwick university scandal (if you haven’t read it about it, please do. Was absolutely appalling) which is somewhat the same thing. He’s going to inform them and hopefully keep me out of it. Thank you all again. I really feel this is something you can’t just ignore these days which is initially what one of my friends told me to do. It’s too serious.

Absolutely horrific. And I don't blame you for being shocked and not knowing how to react, I would be the same. Others have given good advice - report to the police.

This is shocking! Report to the police rather than the girl, I'm sure they will make contact with her if they feel she is at risk. I can't believe people would do this sort of thing, disgusting.

I would report it to the police. You don't know what these boys are capable off, might be just disgusting talk and they don't mean it but what if they do mean it... some people are just not wired up properly.. Atleast the police can speak with these boys.. xx

That was the university scandal I was thinking of. I was about to reply to you about that as it was incredibly similar and I an sure I remember the news saying the lads had talked about who they wanted to R

So I’ve been told about a groupchat on Instagram involving some boys that I’m vaguely aware of from school (bare in mind I left school 6 years ago) I’ve been sent screenshots and one of the boys sent a photo of a girl saying that she needs to be r*ped. For some reason these screenshots were sent anonymously.
I’m somewhat aware of who she is. But don’t know if she should be told of this. Am I doing more harm than good by telling her? But at the same time it’s a very serious thing to say and I feel like she needs to know. I don’t want to be a coward. Hopefully this makes sense.
These boys are nasty. They were nasty at school and clearly haven’t changed.
I don’t know if this is a really inappropriate thing to post on here. If you find it is, I’ll try and delete it
