I still enjoy it overall. But I agree, it has become more and more a case of how can I grab screentime. Oh I know, I'll ask is the world round? Or something equally stupid. I think I'd crack up if I had to deal with the level of stupidity every day, that the two dopey friends and Shirley go in for.

I like the ones who appear to be natural, and are actually funny, and enjoyable to watch. The Siddiquis, the three Ts, Simon and Jane and Amira and Amani are reliably entertaining and witty. I like some of the newbies too.

I feel the show has lost it's sparkle. When it first started it was must see tv. I remember everyone talking about it, people at work and even my own family. Now it's just saying the dumbest thing possible to get air time, and that's down to the producers who clearly have their favourites.

Enjoyed last night's programme overall.

The Scottish sisters add absolutely nothing, hopefully they will give them the boot. Muted the tv as always for Ellie and Izzi's contributions. Far more entertaining with all the head rolling and eye rolling, with no sound.

I used to quite like Shirley and Dave but they seem to have very much gone down the route of Shirley being too stupid for words, while Dave laughs at the rubbish that she spouts.

A minor gripe.

I was watching an old episode last night, it featured various Christmas programmes. One clip was from Love Actually. Some love it, some hate it, and some will never have watched it.

But the goggleboxers all act as though they have no idea what it's about and comment accordingly. It would be more natural imo, for some of them to say, oh this scene is really sad. (Where she thinks she is getting a gold necklace for Christmas but it's a CD because the gold necklace is for his girlfriend.)

They do it at times too with real life events, sometimes historic ones, acting as though they never heard of something well known, or that they don't know what the outcome was.

Definitely lose the Buckleys, Vicky P (who thankfully didn't feature last night), and Olivia Attwood who also didn't feature much overall in the series. Thankfully.

I used to watch and like the Buckleys on their YT channel, have gone right off them, think the popularity of their channel went their heads!

Best part was Shaun and bez (again!) the 1% club, frost bite! Then being stoned watching watership down!!
And I know I'm in the minority, but I do like Chris Packman!

Love Chris Packham too and was surprised his 65 years
Lovely relationship with his step daughter too.

I’ll l never forget Joanna Lumley, in the biz for decades, worked with everyone, stage, film and tv actress, comedy and straight, auditioning for the role of Patsy and said to her ”May I call you Jennifer” and Saunders saying “No, you may not”.


Went of her and everything she’s ever done at exactly that moment. Stuck up cow.
