I actually liked the wall switch up - something a bit different. But Mus shot himself in the foot agreeing to it. He would've won the whole thing if it hadn't been for his points disadvantage.

Did anyone else notice Aneila had a face like a slapped arse at the end? Might've just been unfortunate editing.

I noticed the face and hands on her hips. I assume it was bad editing but she can't seriously think she could or should have won against Amanda??? I did like her though but she was brought back as fastest runner up twice. Amanda won all her eliminators.

And I was so pleased Joe won, I was really rooting for him. Although I almost felt Mus deserved the win after the Wall nonsense. I'd love to have known what Mus's time on the Eliminator was as he'd closed the lead...

So happy for Amanda and Joe!!!

Couldn't stand Aneila for some reason.

It’ll be really interesting to see what they do for the next series. It’s just nice to have a show on tv that has a great nod to what family Saturday nights used to be and that all generations can enjoy. With the most delicious thighs

Sending someone through as fastest runner up seems a bit flawed. Surely something like highest average score across all games would be a better all round indicator. Aneila could’ve been absolutely crap across all events (she wasn’t, I know) but all she had to do was have a fast Eliminator and she got through twice. Amanda won all her Eliminators, helped by the points she picked up during the games to give her the head start, to help her to win, but all Aneila had to do was have a quick time.

Was rooting for Mus to win, but very happy for Joe too. Mus was very magnanimous in defeat and genuinely looked delighted for Joe, and for the good showing he gave of himself too, I’m sure. Aneila could learn a thing or two from him, particularly as she was only in the final to begin with because someone else had to drop out due to injury.

That’s literally the flaw every week though. You saw how quickly Mus made up time on Joe, anyone else and he would have breezed past them despite them having a healthy head start from doing better on the games. It all comes down to who is fast on the eliminator

I wanted Amanda to win, partly because Aneila had been so sour at times, and partly because Aneila got through to the quarter/semi and the final just for being the runner up twice. Amanda deserved to be there. And yet again the women's eliminator was decided by whether someone can climb a rope well or not. Work on your upper body girls!

What a final- I’ve just caught up now because was babysitting my 10 year old nephew who isn’t even allowed to know about Gladiatoss as he would behave so badly after watching it. Very happy for Amanda and Joe- I loved Mus but Christine just swayed Joe for me

I now follow all the male Gladiators both in character and in person on Instagram except Vyper and Hammer because they are rubbish

Thank you for your company over the last weeks, I love discussing the show with you all on here.
