If so, she’s bleeping mental. Is the Moroccan thing an attempt to link herself to Karima (Pro Green’s partner who grew up in Tangier and whose father is Moroccan)?
All a bit single white female - to quote Gizzi…

I’m so sorry but, i’ve never heard of oppositional defiance disorder. Looking it up it literally sounds like an excuse to be a nasty POS and nothing more. It just seems made up, or something only an overbearing parent would diagnose a child with rather than discipline them not that a 40 something year old woman would diagnose herself with.
When you look it up it’s literally only used to describe a child. Imagine looking at that character description and not thinking “yeah I do those things, I’m an adult, maybe I should take a long hard look at myself and grow up or lay off the party drugs” instead thinking “ohgood, another diagnosis to excuse my behaviour with”
How could we forget you’d written four healthy cook books and had two massive tv shows…
So massive I've no bleeping clue what they are called? Can anybody tell me without googling?!How could we forget you’d written four healthy cook books and had two massive tv shows…
I'm seeing more of a backlash to the backlash re 'diet' culture and the body pos movement. Have read a couple of interesting articles recently, but a lot of people are pushing back and saying they should be allowed to be able to say they want to lose weight without being accused of fatphobia. And cancer charities should be allowed to say that obesity is a leading cause of cancer when it is scientifically proven to be true, without being accused of being fat phobic. At the end of the day, you know what feels right on you, and if you're happy with it fine, but if you're not then have at it and get counting those calories if you think it will help. She’s a twit in general these days and will therefore probably post some obnoxious/contradictory/hypocritical things as this project goes on, but in fairness to her, I think this post is a fair enough trigger warning for people who find themselves triggered by calorie counting/diet posts to tell them to simply unfollow… I think it’s good that we are more aware of triggers and people should 100% consider their phrasing and post CW/TW ahead of posts that might impact people with food issues or eating disorders, BUT it actually annoys me when people basically insist that this isn’t something that should ever be mentioned online anymore. I personally find it interesting to see what people are making when healthy eating and what calorie count it comes in at, and also can see how it can help Gizzi stay focused and stick with her healthy eating plan for longer (instead of conveniently forgetting after 3 days and switching to posts involving a full day of pie and mash eating across London… for example )

Good points, very well made!"massive tv shows"
*tumbleweed*
Trouble is it is far more nuanced than this. "Obesity is a leading cause of cancer" is very different to "obesity increases the risk for specific cancers", which is the correct context. It's also arguable that obesity is a symptom of something else, be that a physical or mental health issue or socioeconomic. It is also important to try and remember that a smaller body doesn't necessarily equal healthy.
The 'pushback' is a difficult one. Not being explicit with calorie content etc in unexpected places wasn't deemed as a bad idea because of fat people, it was because it caused a negative impact on those recovering from eating disorders. Having said that at least she's said that this is what she is doing, which gives people the chance to unfollow her or at least choose when to engage.
I think she commented on her original 'I need to lose weight' post and gave her tit for it, Gizzi replied saying she needed to lose weight 'for her mental health' or something.Ooh what did Jameela say about Gizzi’s diet posts?
I thought it was odd that she said she hasn’t drunk for months - I know she was on the non alcoholic beer on holiday but I noticed on one of her stories in the past few weeks, she was photographed with or commented on an alcoholic beer at an event I’m sure I didn’t imagine it! I noticed it because she made such a big deal about not drinking and came to the conclusion - based on no further evidence whatsoever so don’t quote me on it - that it was her boyfriend with the alcohol issues and she just tries to avoid it most of the time to support him and try and be healthier. She was also at the Malfy gin events but i guess she could’ve had mocktails
You really need receipts with Gizzi because she lies/changes the narrative constantly…
yeah extremely questionable! as soon as i saw that wall of text i thought ‘oh how is gizzi going to insert herself into THIS one’ and somehow she did. Almost impressive. Her “investigative journalist side”?
Perhaps it’s my interpretation of what she saying, but it sounds as though she befriended the victims to get them to appear on her show. Which is ethically extremely questionable.
