His voice is beautiful. So rich and melodic and soulful. Love you so much George.

Lovely post Sir Lance lot

My Hubs had recorded Wham/GM shows over Xmas - probably thought I could do with a binge watch (he was right). Thankful.

Happy New Year All that read here - keep listening to that wonderful voice.

Over Christmas, I got Pepsi and Shirley book from the library as I wanted a nice easy read.

Both loved George so much.

Reading it, I realised I worked down the road from the pub, where the group Wham was founded...been there for work leaving drinks, etc..I missed out by 10 years!!

Also, the school he went to in North London...this would have been my local school if my parents had not decided to move away 6 months before I was due to start!

I always knew we were meant for each other!!

I know it's not quite about George but Tesco have the white Last Christmas t-shirt in their sale. Got one for £4 today.

It's from 1998. Just after the LA police incident so it's a great snapshot in time.

I recently watched him and Ronan Keating on celebrity "Who wants to be a millionaire '. I didn't realise he did that. Also they were talking of him on radio 2 the other day. Apparently just after he had woken from his coma,he had a wrist country accent for a few days.

I do engage with a bit of GM content when I'm (rarely) on X...so that must be why this was at the top of my feed. The "Arnie AI" thing seems to be a bit of a meme (I'm oblivious most of the time!).

I have no idea where it started but I love it. One of my faves is Somebody I Used To Know

When it's been a bloody awful week (work) and the pick me up you need will always George especially this video.
We were there the night this was recorded, right down at the stage (we had 3rd row tickets) and I can personally tell you that the crowd went off when he switched to the original I'm your man. The roof came off Earls Court

Cute nod to George in Taylor’s Opalite video today, with a poster and vinyl. Can’t be arsed with her at the best of times but it was a good watch

I'm always devastated thinking that the reason I didn't get to see him live was through youthful idiocy and thinking he'd be around for a lot longer than he was.

I was a very fortunate young teen and a full grown adult. The 3rd row tickets were thanks to a wonderful lady in their box office after my sister (and multiple other people) were scammed by a dodgy website.
Lady overheard us talking about it and we were going to buy restricted view tickets, she called me over and quietly told me she had better tickets that hadn't been picked up. She told me not to get too excited and draw attention to the seat numbers she was going to show me. I'm not known for keeping a lid on it but I did that day.
I'm not superstitious but while walking to Earls Court, I picked up a sprig of heather that someone had dropped and we were offered the tickets 30 minutes later.

I've gone down a Star Stories hole recently and the George Michael episode has to be one of the funniest!
Apparently George himself loved this episode so much he was going to meet up with Kevin Bishop but he passed before they were able to

Has anyone been to see the Choose George theatre show ? It just popped up on Facebook and I now have 2 front row tickets fortunately it's in my home city and a 10 minute walk from home.

I'm so jealous! Couldn't have gone, because of age, not desire, so delighted to see this
