Today, I have been given a metre long, foot deep planter to brighten up my allegedly ”ugly as pig tit” block paving out the front of my house.
Is there anything I can put in it that will last longer than a season and can take a bit of neglect that isn’t a cordyline, cotoneaster or firethorn (I see too many of those planted around supermarket car parks). In Essex so in the artificial heat shadow of London and one of the driest areas in the UK.
