Hello! I've upgraded our paddling pool to a bigger, more robust one.
I am looking in the option of getting a heat pump to heat it for 3/4 months over the summer. It won't be heated the rest of the year. Does anyone have any tips or advice on where to start please? The pool is 16ft and has a water capacity of 11,532L.

Hi I have a 12ft steel frame pool , after looking into the heat pumps I decided to go for a Sunny Tent it keeps the pool really warm and I also have a solar bubble cover.
I was advised that the air temperature doesn’t get hot enough where I live for the heat pumps in my price range to work properly (Yorkshire).
Apparently the heaters cost very little in electricity to run but the heaters themselves are expensive. I’d definitely get one if I could afford a larger one.
I spoke to this company they gave good advice and were really helpful on the phone.

I’d definitely recommend giving them a ring and telling them the pool size etc and they will tell you which heater would work best.

There’s a group on Facebook think it’s called Above Ground Pools UK and people give really good advice on the different heaters/costs etc 😊

Thank you so much, this is great. I've had a look online and it seems to be that after the initial outlay of the heat pump, it isn't too expensive to run. I've ordered a solar bubble cover too so will start with that and give the company a ring to see what they suggest.
Thank you so much!

Thank you, we decided not to go away this year so have instead spent the money on the pool. I'm hoping we get a decent summer so our daughter (and friends) get lots of use from it 🤞🏼
