I've listened to the interview she gave regarding selling everything, she feels ready to sell everything now, better to do it now than leave it for her grown up kids to do

It wouldn't surprise me if she also sold the house in the very near future

Although I believe there is a stipulation in the will that if Mary passed away before 50 years are up from when he died, the house would go the Mercury Phoenix Trust or something similar to that effect, its been many years since I saw the will ( I know its online somewhere )

Anyway, I ❤ freddie and queen and all the great music they created together

I’m shocked she’s selling them to be honest but given her advancing age I guess she wants the items to go to fans that will cherish them?

Ken Dodd’s wife is selling all his notebooks, despite him wanting them destroyed. I have no idea if Mrs Dodd stands to gain financially, it just struck me that the stories were similar.

I thought it was interesting that Bohemian Rhapsody was originally going to be Mongolian Rhapsody. Glad he thought twice about that!

I'm not a massive Queen fan (some songs I love, others I can't stand) but his is one of the celeb deaths that hits me the most. I think it's because he was so young and having to keep his lifestyle under wraps.

Comb is now £85,000 🤭 With a buyer’s premium of 26% (£22,100), someone is paying out at least £107,000 for a tiny comb, yikes.

Tbh I think he was probably bi with a preference for men.

Maybe comes under "I would say that wouldn't I?" given that "bi with a preference for men" describes me as well 😅

Sylvester Stallone did the same a few years ago. Sold off hundreds of pieces of memorabilia from his movies and stuff. I was surprised he didn't give it to his kids, maybe they didn't want it.

Can't be nice staring down your own mortality like that.
