Cannot wait for the Adam divorce, but after looking over the business documents I thinks it's nearlt mpossible for Lando to get rid of him without a much better lawyer and an agent... seriously should go for Joao's manager (also ronaldos). Adam his set the entire thing up where Lando has equal control but that doesn't make it easy to give full control.
Is Charles using private jet while Carlos travels with the team? Ouch. 
Not just Adam Norris either, the number of drivers whose parents (mainly their fathers but not exclusively) seem to have some kind of hold over them/their lives because of the money they forked out or "sacrifices" they made for them to be there or just their general controlling behaviour over their careers has always bothered me tbh.
I know we gave him a good sl*gging off the other week but the Lawrence/Lance relationship is the one that bothers me the most on this front, aside from Jos and his abuse of Max. At least the others all seem to still love doing what they do but Lance really seems like half the time he'd rather be doing something else, and I do wonder if he would have left motorsport altogether by now if it wasn't for the fact that his father quite literally bought an entire team to give him a seat, so I wonder if it must make it feel almost impossible for him to walk away. Yes I know we shouldn't feel sorry for him really, given all the advantages he has in life, but it can't feel great to feel so beholden to your parent like that.

Michael was famously controlling of both his and Ralf's careers and lives (I know Ralf's a tool but istg half the reason he ended up marrying Cora was just to spite Michael who apparently hated her), so it would have been the Sainz situation on steroids with Mick I think. Athough I sometimes wonder if Mick now has a different kind of guilt in feeling beholden to his father's legacy in his absence. I'm sure given the choice, he'd prefer his controlling father still being around.
ETA: It would have been fascinating seeing the Schumacher brothers' careers & lives at the time they were driving play out in the current internet age. it was all enough of a soap opera at the time, imagine what it would be like now, splashed all over social media!
