For some reason I find food hauls strangely addictive. And I donāt know why. Food come shop with me and food haul videos. I canāt help but watch Americans go to Costco and buy all the same stuff including bottled water, Ritz crackers and apple sauce.
I kind of get that, as I would be interested too see American snacks etc. As they donāt have many of them over here! But accounts each week showing us their washing up liquid and broccoli from their Asda shop. Is it really necessary?

Ohh I love a good food haul thing is I know it's sad but I just love them. I stick to the American ones though what is it with them and apple sauce. And cheese they love cheese grated bars sliced creamy it amazes me I wouldn't know what to cook with it all but it looks yummy.
Endless amounts of apple sauce! I just donāt get why they need so much.
I quite enjoy watching food hauls too but overall I enjoy watching trashy tv anyway

I am not sure why I think I like looking at what they eat over there.
Costco here never sell half the stuff they do nor do Aldi.
Jamerill Stewart is another large family cooking/food haul channel. 10/10 you will be shocked at the amount of cheese and Halo Top.
Jesus 200 dollar on bread! how many kids have they got I am halfway through a massive haul from Feb lol.
These people spend more on food than my mortgage.
Sheās a freezer meal lover, does freezer sandwiches as well. Itās insane if you watch her cooking videos when she makes freezer meal, the sheer amount she makes. It staggers me.

TBH American applesauce is much better than the stuff you can get here. I used to live there and my mother always bought applesauce. There are so many types, sweetened, unsweetened, with cinnamon etc. Itās good with yogurt or porridge and can settle your stomach if you arenāt well.

So they put apple sauce in things not just eat it straight?
I always remember the baby food apple sauce I think I ate more than I gave but the only one you see in the UK is condiment sauce.
They do both. Eat straight and mix with other things, cottage cheese, granola or muesli is good too. We frequently had it on the side with food, like pork chops mostly. Another thing I love is apple butter which you canāt find here. Itās lovely on toast. I do make my own apple sauce because the jars they sell here are ridiculously tiny and donāt taste good. I wonder if they sell American sized jars at Costco here. I havenāt been to one in this country. Cold applesauce is delicious. I add lemon juice, lemon peel, cinnamon and a bit of salt to mine. When cranberries are in season they make a nice addition. The Simply Recipes site have some good apple and cranberry sauce recipes.

I donāt get pound shop hauls either or primark. I find the whole hauling videos just weird itās kind of like look what tit and clutter Iāve bought this week. The food is weird apart from like above mentioned if your making meals up. I wish someone would though meal plan for me and tell me what to buy. Allways get more then I need.Sounds like those Hinch hauls from Mrs Hinch and her followers. Hungermama has a Facebook page and a website for meal planning ideas. She specialises in Hungerpots where everything is cooked in same pot. Sheās been commissioned to do a cookbook now. I also like the Budget Bytes site as she has a lot of one pot meals.
Oh my lord this post has just put my life time cooking to shame.
I got lost worrying about all the pots and pans when I read the ingredients lol.
Apple butter sounds so nice, if you have only shopped in Costco in US then you will be disappointed I have only ever seen a few things that I see in hauls in there.
Tomorrow I am making a rainbow cake I am already having flutters of worry lol.
I will look up the apple butter recipe I once made butter beer I think it was Harry Potter drink that was ok.
And another thing I donāt get is bread rolls with everything I bet they must look at our food and wonder what on earth
