Sooo this is random but I’m moving into a 2 bed flat. My friend is a carpet fitter/floor layer he’s gonna fit my flooring for me he’s quoted me £70 for his time for fitting my living room, hall, kitchen and bedroom does this sound decent? I’m clueless with this stuff.

Does he fancy you? That is mega cheap, can you send him my way? 😂 we’ve just been quoted £1300 for refitting the floors in our flat, that’s not with the materials!

That’s a really good price!

I paid £400 (not including materials) for laminate in my hall, kitchen and living room. It took a day and a half of work.

I think to supply and fit the carpet in my 2 (small) bedrooms was going to be about £200 per room but I ended up moving so didn’t go ahead with it.

That’s insanely cheap.

It’s usually £40-£60 per room where I am. Obviously not including the carpet or flooring.
