No better way to start the new year than rich people publicly complaining about travel delays returning from their heavily discounted rich family holiday in the French Alps. Fleur sure can be an absolute fucking loser sometimes.

Omg Fleur, you have more than enough money to buy that John Lewis bag yourself but nope, she‘s asking her followers if she should buy it and obviously tagged the designer, even saying she’s never had any of their bags before. I wouldn’t be surprised if next week we‘ll see her open a kindly gifted box from them containing the bag that caught her eye.

Oh god she really is panhandling for a £109 bag. That's absolute couch cushion change for her. And it's ugly to boot - I do though genuinely love how Fleur's taste never gets better. It's almost unintentionally charming how bad it is. I do not like though how the lady of the manor is again insincerely agonizing about an inconsequential purchase when she's not in the French Alps soaking in double-barrel generational wealth and OG influencer spoils. That doesn't make her relatable, it makes her disingenuous.

Fleur's niece who features in her teen gift guide looks a lot older than last year. She doesn't seem to have any child like qualities left in either her looks or manner, despite being only 12. Fleur comments multiple times about how much older than 12 she looks. I think she is perhaps quite uncomfortable with it and knows that, combined with the fact that the niece is heavily into expensive make up and skin care brands, it is likely to attract comments about children growing up too quickly.

I find it quite incredible (and sad) what kids like her are into these days. When I was 12, I remember being chuffed with a 'glitter babes' body spray from Boots and maybe a fruity lip balm from the Body Shop. The main focus of my presents would be things like games and craft supplies. I doubt I was even aware of the existence of eye lash curlers etc and all the other things she was raving about.

At the end of the day, Fleur and co are all just boring chavs. They might have all the money in the world, but it doesn't buy them any class, common sense or personality.

I wanted to wait till her pop up was over to write on here. I went to the pop up and had a peruse and chat with the assistants (also subtly told them about Dubai gate to stir the pot lol) and two of them said they hated Fleur. They said that Reely (however you spell her name) was actually genuinely nice but Fleur had this air of "I don't need to speak to you". And she acted as if people were below her.

Her jewelry is shit. It's tacky as fuck and the quality is awful. Feels like costume jewellery you'd get in a Xmas cracker.

I'm sure that Fleur loves her children (especially doing mini-me stuff with River), but I think she does motherhood on her own terms, as she has always done pretty much everything. She was never the most enthusiastic about the pregnancy and infant stage (apart from the freebies, obviously), and I don't particularly have a problem with that – not every woman is suited to motherhood, and the kind of super-involved parenting that is considered normal now was never normal for rich people. Fleur herself went to a boarding school, and her family isn't even that rich compared to Mike's.

I don't have children because I'm not at all maternal (except towards my cat, who is naturally my perfect sweet angel baby ), but I think it was expected that Fleur would have at least a couple, and she's said lots of times in vlogs that Mike wanted a son. I'm sure her children know that they're loved and have lots of family around them with the grandparents still being alive and various cousins, etc., not to mention the kind of lifestyle and opportunities in life that most parents could only dream of giving their children. Fleur has always been all about Fleur and I don't think that will change now.

I do think to be fair, that Fleur adores her kids. I think she also clearly wanted kids and would have been the one of the two to go for another. You can tell from her conversations with River that they do a lot together. And she think the little guy is the cutest thing.

She has a lot of time to spend with them, she does a small amount of YouTube & some work with the jewellery stuff.

She has the money & time to travel so why not if she wants to. The kids will be doted on by their entire village & she’s married to a nice, reliable guy who clearly adores them all so it’s not like her kids are missing out.

I think they have an amazing life. They still seem to be happily married, two healthy kids, very close wider family, well off enough to go on multiple holidays, have experiences, go on shopping sprees etc.

I don’t understand the obsession with people claiming that almost every influencer is using Ozempic or Mounjaro. Even if they are, it’s their body.
Especially in someone like Fleur’s case, who has never been overweight, all these claims that she’s "so tiny now" are ridiculous. To me, that’s body shaming. If she were overweight and someone commented, “OMG, she’s so big,” people would be outraged.

I’m torn on this one. 100% agree Fleur was never overweight.

Regardless of whether she is taking the jab or not, it is the new Botox, a lot of people who are not overweight are taking it. And that puts even more societal pressure on people who are overweight. And people trying to take it are trying to cover it up by seeming to eat large meals on camera etc which can be difficult if you are trying to lose weight.
And then you have people who have lost large amounts of weight acting devoid of empathy for people who are where they were & posting endless thigh gap picture etc. And advertising a gym in one case.

Weight gain is treated by many as a moral failure . Having influencers taking these drugs just dials up the pressure.

And saying someone is tiny, really is not the same as saying someone is really fat, because the former is admired while the latter is judged.

But I don’t think Fleur is obliged to give up her privacy. I don’t think she should be pretending she eats large amounts. She was always someone who never ordered the chips etc and that seems to have gone out the window.

I do think that Fleur should have advised her niece to remove her gum before filming. She chewed all the way through and it wasn't pleasant when the chewed gum itself could be seen.

Some serious facial filtering going on there! I still watch Fleur just because I remember her from way back and I guess she's one of those vloggers who makes me feel nostalgic for the early days of YouTube (I also like to have a nosy at her huge house ). However, I wouldn't take health or beauty advice from her just because, for all the time and money she has to spend on make-up, skincare, treatments, etc., she doesn't look particularly good for her age – even less so now that she's lost so much weight. It's wild how many influencers who made their names as make-up/skincare gurus are now looking pretty rough in their mid/late 30s (which is still not old!). So much of that 'expertise' was really just being young.
