Hi all

just wondered what everyone uses for exercising at home?

finding it harder to get the motivation to go out walks in the cold and gyms etc all closed but thinking of getting up early before the rest of the house and doing a workout.

Don’t currently have a DVD player set up so anything on Netflix/Amazon prime/YouTube/sky that anyone recommends?

something relatively low impact/beginner ish would be good...as in Joe wicks would kill me lol I have some weights and a mat, maybe even a kettlebell somewhere!

thanks!

HASFit on youtube, a husband and wife team. I have been using their workouts all year and they are so varied and great. There are so many to pick from and they even have 10 min workouts if youre feeling lazy. I have knee issues and I have found their workouts fairly low impact and if something is too hard I just follow the woman. The guy is easy on the eye too so thats a bonus haha

I signed up to WW earlier in the year as as part of their online membership got access to loads of videos from Pilates to weights. Thought it was a fab feature. Even had some desk based ones as well! X

That’s really good. I never liked how little attention slimming world seemed to place on exercise, so it’s good to see WW are.

I was really impressed and they’ve had an offer on for three months free and then normal rate after. I didn’t like the way my slimming world leader actually told me not to go to the gym as my fat would turn to muscle which weighed more. I was like...nope that’s not how biology works!

Cannot recommend fitness blender enough. They have a ton of free workout videos, with a load of low impact ones.

They also have a couple of low impact programmes which are $15 and can be used over and over again.

They are a husband and wife team, American but not the shouty, clappy, super excited type that you just want to punch as you are exhausted! They get on with it, sweat, huff and puff.

I second Fitness Blender! Its so good and they actually know what they're talking about.

Jillian Michaels workouts are also decent and quite short - not sure if they're available for streaming but the DVDs are super cheap on Ebay.

Yoga with Adrienne on Youtube is also good.

Fitify is good, an all rounder, especially if you dislike a real trainer /person within the app. It's good too if you like to choose your pace.
