I can’t wait until Waterstones and Smiths reopen and I can go in there and hide the inappropriately named book behind some cookery books. Petty I know but I cannot stand her. Middle class Tory Surrey fake instahun, I basically hate everything about her but especially her fakeness

Maybe she needs to clarify she wrote the book entirely before the baby was born, as everyone has commented how amazing that she's written a book with a newborn and she's had to correct them all, good for engagement though.
I will add though I've had to TFMR and there are still some people that don't know the truth as there would be definite judgement, even though our daughter had Edwards and wouldn't have survived they still would think we should have carried on with pregnancy, so I do sort of understand the vagueness around it, even if its not right to judge, there is still a taboo around it.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My daughter had Edwards too and even though she wouldn’t have survived it’s the hardest decision. I completely understand what you mean about judgement. My issue with Elle is that I remember her doing a story saying we MUST talk about TMFR but she won’t talk about hers, just other people’s stories yet she talks so openly about Teddy and has such a huge platform. I just find it strange.

Don’t worry, I was as well and so were many of other women posting on here and their friends and family. She made me feel like with her response to me, after I had supported her on her page, donated money to Tedicated Cyvle, donated to the NICU and her raffles, the whole shebang. Such an odd thing to say that you can’t wait to read it. It implies being excited about reading it which I would understand if the subject matter was different. Other people have had to go through awful experiences and loss for this book to be written, yet blossomingbirds and GSDIH can’t WAIT to read it.

I was waiting to see how she handled the book announcement and it’s all so lack lustre and zero effort. Not her talking on stories about it or holding the book.. just images. Which she isn’t even in. And she’s changed her profile pic to the book... whoever said it up-thread you’re totally right. Clearly she’s selling this book because she had a two book deal and will then disappear (although I do think she would miss the attention). She’s not trying to engage followers or share anything about her actual life at all.

To be honest I'm not really sure how I feel about her needing to tell everyone that it was written pre Olivia. During that time she was busy telling people she was trying to take her mind off everything and didn't really want to think of the possibilities of what could happen in case the worst was to happen again. When actually she was busy writing it in a book so that she could sell it.

Dismissive, rude, abrupt and insensitive. Inferring her loss was worse than mine. Saying she doesn’t have time etc that kind of thing.
