Experiences with Food delivery...

Not sure if there is a thread on this already, but I couldn't find one.
Interested to hear your experiences with food delivery services like Deliveroo, ubereats, justeat etc...
We've been using them on and off for years but recently I've been left fuming with some experiences of ubereats. Multiple times we have received the wrong order/missing items and upon reporting this have been told 'thank you for your message but we are unable to take this further'... I'm sorry but how is it okay to miss out half our order (meaning me and my daughter didn't have the dinner we wanted) and then refuse to even acknowledge it, let alone refund!! In comparison, Deliveroo have always been great with refunding if something goes wrong.

Rarely use Ubereats unless for McDonalds, but they never deliver dip. When I have issues with Deliveroo they're, like you say, very good about dealing with it. My only issue with Deliveroo is that more recently they've started delivery other orders on the way to ours, there should be a way to control this. We tip well and if it's sushi I don't mind them doing another order but if it's something that needs to be delivered as soon as possible then it does annoy me a bit.

Yup... also had this from Mcdonalds with the lack of dips. We dont get mcdonalds often but when we have we assume we won't be supplied ketchup etc so have to get in advance. First world problems I know, but still...
