Has anyone watched the movie on netflix? I didn't have any expectations,i thought it'd be trash but the movie was pleasantly surprising. The songs were better than the real eurovision :D:D

I watched this at the weekend with low expectations and actually quite enjoyed it, few good jokes in there and I liked the songs too

I watched it thinking it would be crap also - I’m not a great lover of musicals so when everyone started singing I was like ... 💤💤💤 thinking that was how the rest of the film was going to be but then when I realised it’s actually nothing like a musical, I really enjoyed it!

I’ve started it but it’s boring the hell out of me, I want to keep trying because my sister found it hilarious and really recommended it

The last song is definitely worth watching the film for. I was quite emotional at the end! Thoroughly enjoyed it. And I despise anything with Will F in.

I think it goes on too long but I thought it was funny. Pierce Brosnan is fiiiiiiiiiiiine!

Agreed, Pierce doesn't normally do it for me but grey and bearded...:love::love:

I also thought the film was ok, a nice easy watch, helps if you're a Eurovision fan which I am (it's so bad it's good!).

It was ok but my god I’ve had ‘Ya ya ding dong’ playing on a torturous loop in my head for a week.

I liked it. It was silly but so is Eurovision lol I don't know how anyone takes it seriously.

I like it. Not my usual cup of tea and not a fan of Will Farrel, but though it was amusing and actually very warm-hearted. Though Dan Stevens was a hoot.

Could have been 20mins shorter, but found it surprisingly likeable and obviously tongue-in-cheek without being mean spirited.

I'm usually not a fan of these type of movies but I really really enjoyed this.

As a Northerner and a Eurovision fan I'm very impressed with how much they got right, with everything from the accents (Yes, we do pronounce Simon as Semen) to the cultural representations and the competition in general. I am however glad that they decided from the start to not try and make an accurate representation of it but rather go for a satirical approach whilst throwing in accurate references people can relate to.

Favorite part:
Are you gay?
No No. I'm Russian.
