Did anyone else notice the huge QR code on the side of Sadie's helicopter? It took you to the voting page for Emmerdale at the NTAs 🤣🤣🤣

I’m bored of the ‘seeking revenge against Kim’ plots or the long lost child seeks revenge against long lost parent plots

Jamie, seeking revenge against Kim
Caleb first came in seeking revenge against Kim and then Ruby took over
Nate came in seeking revenge against Cain
We now have long lost daughter Thea seeking revenge against Kim

When Joe neighed like a horse when Dawn passed I lost it and then couldn’t find it anything but funny.

Sad horse

Though Angel’s reply to hearing her mother, who is obviously distressed, telling her that her Dad was in a car crash and badly hurt was the pinnacle of acting. ‘No….*sad face*’

Ok so Joe is going to wreak revenge on Caleb & Ruby in a storyline dragged out until Christmas involving some sort of explosion and/or more death(s)… my prediction but I’m usually wrong 🙄😂
He will rip out Caleb’s remaining kidney and serve it up in a steak and kidney pudding and force Ruby to eat it on Christmas Day.

I usually wait to watch in the evenings but I have watched on itvx this morning.
Amongst all the grief and sadness, a little bit made me really smile -
when Graham read the kid's speech to Joe and the bit where the kid wrote how happy he was to have a mum, a gran, two dads, siblings and "a Graham."

You know who would have saved everyone? Superdoc Jaycub (and John the Medic. RIP!).
Manpreet and Liam didn't know what to do when they arrived at the marquee and Jaycub wasn't there to guide them. Look how he controlled the Corriedale crash, one casualty out of dozens. When he's not involved, 33% of the casualties died. That's not a coincidence!

So Billy lies about who clobbered him on the back of his noggin and Dawn acts like he'd committed the worst sin in the whole wide world, yet she's ok with Joe, a man she once pushed out of a window, who stole Caleb's kidney, caused 3 people to die in a car crash and who stood by and watched Victoria be attacked by John.

AI Kim at the end of today's episode 😂

The detective is revealed as Kim's daughter that she gave up for adoption in 1999. 🙄 Why can't they come up with an original story instead of all these long-lost kids every character seems to have? The detective being Zoe's daughter or James' wife would be just as plausible without completely retconning Kim's character.

Who else enjoyed Sarah finally getting a slap in tonight’s episode? 👋🏼

when the hell is Mac going to grow a pair and leave though? When you hear it all blurted out like that - it’s utterly humiliating for him! X

I've a fondness for Patsy Kensit, if only because I've a memory of my Gran relating to her. Every Tuesday after college, and well into my adult life, I would spend it with my Gran. I'd arrive to boiled spuds in butter, cabbage and ox tongue. Ground rice pud and baked apple for afters. Many cups of tea. TV like the soaps, Escape to River Cottage and Holby City in front of the roaring fire.

I arrived at my Gran's one Tuesday to her telling me of her surprise that Patsy was taking part in Strictly despite being pregnant. (Her character in Holby was pregnant). It was around this time she began confusing TV with reality but she laughed when I explained it all to her. God I miss her. People take the Mick out of soaps but it really brought me and my Gran a lot of fun. Added to the cosiness of our times together.

If I found out that my birth mum was a millionaire lady of the manor, I'd be extra nice to her when I finally tracked her down.
I certainly wouldn't be arresting her and making her life a misery, is that bent copper stupid, or what? 🙄

I think it was a mistake to kill Dawn off. There is so much deadwood on the show that could have gone before her, and Dawn and Joe could have been a formidable couple going forward. She might have become a Kim Tate like character in time. I wonder why she was axed over some of the others?

I also wish some character exits would remain a surprise. We always seem to know about these things months in advance now. I don't mind soap spoilers and read them all the time, but It'd be good these big soap deaths could remain under wraps once in a while.

Is Joe OK? I wonder if he'll have ongoing issues with these fainting spells/blackouts?
I honestly think giving her all those kids was the beginning of the end. Ridiculous that the writers think someone like Joe Tate would take on Dawn and her kids.

Also, could soaps stop demonising adoption? I'm sure there are many cases where the child has a horrible upbringing because of adoption, but it's every time in soaps. There must be some people who are adopted that have had a 'normal', happy, healthy childhood and don't seek revenge on their birth parents for giving them up.
