When I read "PC Swirling arrives" I then start to chuckle to myself. This PC has the cleanest, newest hi-vis jacket every time I see him on the screen. He must have never been involved in any dirty ground scuffles ever. 
Great episode today. Ruby continues to steal scenes imo.

Today's episode: Laurel, FFS! Aaron making everyone else's trauma about himself as usual. And Chas inserting herself into everyone's business. This. This is why people dislike them.
Also, does the actor who plays Eric speak in the same way IRL? The laugh he does when he says every line really annoys me.

I think he does it to try and hide that he's thinking what his next line is.
I feel sorry for Aaron.
Bottling all his feelings up inside all these years.
I mean, having a mother like Chas can't make it easy to unburden yourself with all that he suffered.
She's just a screechy selfish harridan.
I hope this now leads to him and Ruby bonding. They can help each other.
I hope Emmerdale keep Ruby for a very long time.
