Don’t you have to have a BMI of below 40 to adopt? Surely both will struggle with that.

Honestly what child deserves to have them as parents? 😢
Not always, I think I was just over 40 when we started the adoption process and I just had to show that I could lose weight - I wasn’t given a figure to aim for. In the end I think I lost 2 and a half stone during the process which satisfied them but I remember the social worker saying even a pound would show the willing that they needed.

However I know this isn’t the same for all agencies.

She’s had weight loss surgery and still hasn’t manage to lose 3 stone 🙈

I haven’t caught up with Emma in ages so I come on her thread for a nosey and see she is running a playgroup!!! Of all the things I thought she might be doing, a playgroup was not one of them! Very strange move, I imagine it’s some kind of attempt at making money, she can’t be making much elsewhere.

Also what did Katy say please?

She did one of those anon question boxes and someone asked what happened with Emma. She said she's not spoken to her since 2020, is blocked from her accounts and she's not interested so don't dm her about Emma

I bet she is also snort laughing at the idea of Emma running a playgroup.

She also said Emma is still on social media and if you look hard enough you'd find her or something...

I've just been reading the info on the website of the play group, seems Emma does the "boring admin stuff" but also "keeps the quavers topped up" and she's someone you can "ask to watch your children while you go take a sip of a hot drink" 😂 😂 and you just know Tony is sat in the baby room with a nappy on waiting to be fed those quavers!! Honestly one look at that website is enough to put anyone off, it's really weird.....even for the Drews ;)

It’s bizarre because at no play group or toddler group that I’ve ever been to have I ever left my child under the supervision of the staff there. He would always be with me. I used to see the play groups as a chance to play in a different environment and begin socialising with other parents and children - not palm my child off even for a couple minutes. You don’t know the staff from Adam so there’d be no chance I’d be letting them have any supervisory powers. I also don’t know many children that would have wanted to be left with a stranger at that age even for a couple minutes.

Emma’s lack of experience with children is really showing through.

I thought Salt and Vinegar Snack a Jacks were her thing? Why the sudden love for Quavers!? There's so many weird unanswered questions around this Playgroup thing.
