Woah, he was centering himself throughout the entire relationship
She was all we, we, we and planning for their long term future, picturing them being together and he...didn't.
He didn't put any money into a property together. Saved on renting by letting her buy solo. Didn't propose on her 30th after a decade together and despite her being keen, all her friends and family talking about and talking about it online to literally dozens of shell fans.
He enjoyed free holidays, expensive gifts and free food courtesy of sheldons influencer perks and built himself a nest egg for the future move
He then decides to take a job abroad to a place where his gf of a decade can't follow him and still...she's hanging on.
99% he is going to want to date while there and look for a mythical New York ten, while sheldon gets her yellow bouffant teased into dated ringlets at various London hair salons.
Girl have some pride, he's clearly just being using you to build his future. That devious little curvy king doesn't want you as his doritto queen
I wouldn’t be too hasty jumping to this conclusion of a long term move there for him.
I know nothing about what the Podgy Prince does for a living but knowing the nature of visas there well, it is most likely he is on a fixed term contract.
I’d be surprised if it’s any longer than 12 months. He’ll be back in London soon enough I’d suspect.

I had a snoop on the company he works for and looks like they have a US team and have sent other people there in the past. Whether it’s a temporary or longer term role we’ll never know. But it does take some planning on his part, not only working for a firm that has a US base but then requesting a move or applying for a role that allows him to move. I imagine he has been quite determined to get a US move, it hasn’t happened by blind luck.
I wonder if that’s why he stopped being in the vlogs. He wanted a move and being painted as the silly boyfriend and her bragging she pays for him wasn’t a good look at work. She obviously took it badly and rather than be mature and say Matt won’t be on my vlogs as much, she decided to try and capitalise and pretend she was single for engagement.
She could have actually used the whole thing for some interesting content but again she’s lied and pretended she went to nyc to surprise her bestie

Her mum is busy planning her wedding and her brother is playing house with his gf, canham doesn't care about anything except her appearance.
My take is he'll be stringing her along until he meets someone (someone american) else, pretending not to be going out hoping to meet women, lying about being on apps, tell her it is simply a work networking / team building evening out and doesn't she want him to make friends/enjoy the opportunity while he is out there, he doesn't mind if she goes out with her friends and where is the trust after a decade plus etc
The fact that she went out there to facilitate moving easier and less stressful for him is wildly embarrassing.
She might be looking at ways canham got her visa, desperately trying to pull the same moves but canham is (was?) more successful an influencer that sheldon both in numbers and with the big money spons. Perhaps she is thinking she can get her friends who live in NY to keep tabs on him or just spend time with them outside of work.
Him planning this move, and planning it without her after ten years with the woman is the equivalent of ending the relationship.

The fact he packed a coffee mug with his “brand” logo on in his luggage and flew it all the way to NYC to take a photo of it for Instagram.
This is not a guy that wants to settle down any time soon and he's making a total fool out of her and stringing her along. I mean he always has done by his total disinterest in her but planning a move without your long term girlfriend who drops daily hints about marriage is wild. She is not going to be able to move with him. She is not successful enough to get a visa as an influencer.

Has she rented out her flat? If I'd been away for weeks (who knows exactly how long) overseas, the last thing I'd want to do is go to a hotel, even a luxury one in my home city?

I swear I saw the orange one today. In Knightsbridge (I was passing through via bus!), crossing the road looking harrassed. Or it was someone who looked nearly identical - these scruffy peroxide clones must spawn around there?
