I'm watching hurricane vlogs.......and people can be without power for 2-3 weeks! We panic if our electricity is off for 10 minutes......I bet Elle is blaming Con for them moving to Texas but, Elle did say she'd look at Florida as an alternative to San Diego......Florida have more hurricanes than Texas

I can't imagine bringing a new born into this......

Saw someone on tiktok called @ maggieeatsss who lives in Houston Texas saying they have had no power since 5am and next to no cell service.
I wonder how prepared they were for something like this? Can’t just get a takeaway if nowhere has power!

The county of Fort Bend, where they live, looks to be flooded. Three people have been killed so far. Didn't Elle & Con's friends warn them about the weather? The hurricane was downgraded to a tropical storm for their area....

To be fair though, it was more important to have a photo shoot at a resort three hours away than prepare for the hurricane

Its a big and much needed wake up call and after this things will never be the same for them again as this is the reality of their decision - she's placed her family in a dangerous situation that would never happen here in the UK and honestly I don't think its going to be the last time.

.....to brag.........that's all this has been about. Look at the size of the house they're renting.....it's too big for a couple with small children. They could've rented a small town house ......

He’s definitely not working there, he’s at home too much or out running etc, he definitely isn’t working a normal 9 - 5. They have so much more money behind the scenes than what people realise and definitely have businesses

The move would make more sense. I think that the US gives you a lot of opportunities career wise. And it doesn’t have to be 9-5, even part time maybe at the gym. It just doesn’t make a sense to move there only for them to be stay at home parents. They could do that in UK with friends around. It must have something to do with work possibilities/career, since she is having kids then it ought to be about him

Con is just there playing the character of husband, her current children have always come second to the next ones she planned to have and that seems to happen so easily for her. The dogs are just props for her. There won’t be any consequences of the hurricane for her, the rental company will come in and fix the window and she will use it as dramatic vlog content. Then NEXT. She’s had no repercussions from anything she’s said ever done. Even sees her own poor mother’s passing as some kind of twisted gift to her future self and uses it for sympathy. Has a racist (amongst other horrible things) scandal yet somehow manages to move to America and rent a massive house with neither of them even working and not even having a social security number, which many people wouldn’t even get the opportunity to do. Nothing touches her, she just bounces back and it’s barely even recognised by her as a misstep as she’s just onto the next thing

Radio silence since her last story with the storm thrashing at the window yesterday, wonder if they’ve been without power?

I can’t fathom the lack of preparedness from parents with two very young children, one on the way and two dogs. Like what the hell are you doing?! I know nothing of hurricanes and Texas really but a couple of minutes on Google and I’ve learnt all sorts about what you need to do to prepare and what the dangers are according to different categories etc.

It’s like she wasn’t even aware of the risks, you’d have thought what with her growing up there she’d have known all about it .

Manifesting your dream home seems a bit of a waste of time when a storm could destroy it all in seconds. What's the point of having an Instagram perfect kids room when it could be damaged by the weather? The house looks pretty solid but big massive windows and objects being flung around in the wind are a recipe for disaster.
