In order for Elaine to change anything in her life requires effort and we all know that is a word that is not in her vocabulary...she makes no effort in any part of her life...weight loss, socialising (and meeting your dad at the pub is no socialising), friendships, housework, cooking...the list is endless. It also says so much about her character that she has not one friend after living in the same area most of life.

All she does on a holiday is sit on her fat arse then put on one of her skin tight cheap dresses to watch the ‘entertainment’ in the hotel, which always looks shite. Even when she does get ready, she still scrapes her hair into the same awful style!! Oh, but I’m not sure if that’s to show off her wonderful, glowy burn (sorry Elaine, I meant tan )

I also hate the way she calls her Mam ‘Mum’. Most people in Newcastle say Mam. She slipped up on one of her Christmas vlogs where she was filming her Mam rip up a lottery ticket and shouted “eee Mam!”. Is she trying to be something else by saying Mum on camera? Also on that vlog her Mam and stepdad had pranked Elaine by pretending the scratch card that she had bought them was a winning one. Elaine didn’t see the funny side of it. It was Neil that pointed out that her Mam had a good laugh, but no, poor Elaine doesn’t like practical jokes!!

As someone else said I think Elaine feels threatened by other women and therefore does not have any close real-life friendships. I feel like if she invited a female friend round she'd panic in case Neil liked her or fancied her. I remember once he went to the pub with workmates (this was a few years ago now) and she was in such a panicky state thinking he was flirting/cheating with other women. It's really sad that she feels that way, because she is making them both feel miserable.

I remember this too! Dont think hes been out since! Yet it's ok for her to, quite obviously, flirt with the likes of Steve, or chat continuously about the guys in work if they so much as say hello to her and openly say she would like other men to find her attractive. Maybe that's why shes so insecure about Neil- she does it, so she thinks he does too!

She's on the diet will start tomorrow diet. Deliberately shows us the blueberries and rasp---berries (anyone else find how she pronounces these hilarious) then eat a family platter of profiteroles. Faffing about with suitcases all day, she probably doesn't go till the end of June, she really has nothing going on in her life.
