Absolutely not. I was and still am awful at maths. The site I use has an oddsmstcher so it works out the calculations for you or you can use a specifically designed calculator for free.

One thing I will advise is read all the advice and guides on an offer, I know people who have rushed in without reading the guides fully (there's step by step ones) and made mistakes and lost money.

Team Profit and Odds monkey are good websites for matched betting. I made around £300 from it last year. Takes time to get your head round it but it's easy money, risk and tax free if you do it right.

Also, maybe a silly question. If I’m already a member of betting sites I obviously won’t get a new joiner bonus. Can I just do it with my own money to start?

I use oddsmonkey and team casino which I pay for (worth the money 10 times over).

Yes I started with £100 of my own money, you can start with less it just takes a little more time to complete offers as you obviously need to wait for one to finish before you can start the next one.

Also even if you've already signed up there will still be reload offers available, I did almost all the sign ups in 2018 when I first had a go (then life got in the way) so I stopped and when I restarted this year I've made almost all of it from reloads; casino, bet and get, 2nd places etc.

Matched betting legit I done it a few years back made several thousand. But you can only do it once and it’s short-lived. You could start any business, but a carpet cleaner and Clean people’s carpets, find your hobby and turn it into money. If you enjoy writing then write a non-fiction kindle e-book about anything and sell it on amazon, takes less than a day to do. Create a course for people on how to do something you’re knowledgeable about, sell it for £30. As for making money online I doubt you will be able to make any more than £100 a month. This is from years of experience doing surveys and online tasks. If you want to work for £0.50 an hour then do it. I’ve also done adult work but I felt like the industry was dying out and would sometimes go days without earning anything.

Appen is a good site for earning extra income. There are lots of different micro tasks, a lot of them are transcribing videos or audio. I earn roughly £12 an hour and do tasks at home around my other work.

Webcamming? I watched a documentary about it once and tried it for couple of weeks and made £1K+!! Not done it since found it a bit creepy

During lockdown ive been looking at different ways to earn side hustle money. The ones ive used and still do now are
Prolific ive earned over £70 just doing surveys

Neevo work isn't regular but they have different tasks to complete like transcription work etc ive earned over £400

Clickworker I've earned over £20

Serpclix is easy work just click links but is not going to make you rich ive earned around £10

Appen takes forever to hear from them but once on a campaign its good money

Audiobee ive signed up but not actually done anything on it

Things ive tried but quit

Lionbridge ive done a couple of jobs with them some have been quite hard I refuse to do anything harder than my day job but the best is ad rater I believe, my friend does it and earns £70 a week for 10mins a day work rating ads on her fb account. I don't have fb so couldn't sign up for that one.

Operadorchat its an adult text service I found it boring and quit but can easily be done in the evenings etc theres also cloudworkers who do the same

Theres also companies like rev, isoftstone I think they have changed their name to teemwork and crisp Ive never worked for any of them but heard about them. Forums on reddit are good for finding out about the best ways to work online from home.

I wouldn’t advise doing surveys - last summer I had a spate of doing loads of them in the hope of earning money. IME they want you to earn a certain amount of money before cashing out but will block your account long before you get to that amount.

If you have old books, dvds, games consoles then sites like Ziffit and Music Magpie are great for quick cash - it’s not necessarily an income but if you need money for something it works. Go around as many as you can find as often certain sites will turn down certain items that others will accept. I made £80 from music magpie selling my old Wii console and an extra £30 on ziffit from selling books and video games. At the same time I have a Depop store where I sell old clothes, shoes, toys. It’s slow going but I’ve made about £100 so far.

Agree with whoever said webcam work. A family friend (honest, guv) made £1800 a week doing webcamming. She stopped because some of her, clients? got a bit clingy and thought this meant they were a couple.

Maybe something like fiver? It’s a market place where you advertise your skill, I dont know how much you get paid but I know it costs £5 and upwards per request. E.g. someone may ask you to create a logo for their business. It doesn’t have to be skills really, I’ve seen people do fortune telling, popping balloons, all sorts.

I’m in the same boat. I really want to look into voiceover work as that’s something to do at home provided there’s a quiet space in the house to record. But haven’t really had a proper research!\

Medical Trials, my Friends Husband does them they can be a nice little earner depending on what they are trialling. May not be for everyone as most are overnights and you can only do a certain amount per Year.

I know of people with sidelines putting websites together for people but I would guess you have to be good at selling to people to get the customers.

Have you thought about selling some sort of crafts on Etsy? A bit slow at the start but with good SEO in place it does work. Some people start as a hobby and end up doing it as a full-time job.
