Dyson air wrap

Im seriously thinking about purchasing one, who has got one and what is your opinion?

I'm thinking rather than buying a cheaper air styler that will inevitably break and only have a round brush I will splash out a bit. Plus I'm taken with the wrap technology for curls

I haven’t got one, as my hair is naturally quite curly but I brought my sister one for Christmas and she swears by it. It is definitely worth the money.

I have one and I really like it. I love the dryer attachment and the heated hair brush. It has made my hair so much sleeker and less damaged than an ordinary dryer and I have thick hair they now dries in minutes. Was hitting 20-25 mins before. Plus it’s not hot hot so no insane sweating whilst drying, wahey.

I don’t use the curls all the time and I’m still perfecting the technique but they are lovely. I’m playing with doing beachy/ loose waves that you manually wrap round the barrel instead of letting the dyson do its sucking thing.

I bought one a couple of months ago and have used it just a couple of times. If I could make the decision to get one again, I wouldn’t. I have long really thick hair that’s quite frizzy. When I curl it it just looks and feels SO much thicker and unmanageable and I don’t feel the brushes do much either.

But, I have seen the results of some people using it and it looks amazing. I guess it depends on your hair type.

The hairdryer attachment is amazing though.

I was given a stain air wrap for a gift, I love it as it is less damaging to my hair. However , the curls don’t even last 10 minutes.
Any suggestions of what I could do?

I bought the airwrap and I have ditched my curling wand and straighteners. No burning hair smell. Shinier and blow drying is no longer a pain in the a. Love all.the attachments. Best £450 I've spent.
For lasting curls always on damp hair if freshly washed no conditioner, mousse and colour wow dreamcoat and hairspray. (Don't worry quality products mean no Crispyness) or water sprayed second day onwards hair works a treat

I also have long, thick, frizzy hair and I agree with you! I do really like the dryer attachment and I like that it doesn't damage your hair as much, but I think in hindsight I'd rather have bought just a normal Dyson dryer. The brush attachments are the best for me as I find they do smooth the frizz a bit but still have to go over with GHDs so not a huge improvement. The curls don't hold at all and the barrels aren't long enough for my hair.

They now sell longer barrels for longer hair (sadly another expense on an already expensive product).

Yeah I saw those! Do you have them? I didn’t get them because I just don’t find the curls hold as well as a hotter tong on my hair type unfortunately. Even with a lot of spray they dropped really fast.

Been looking at this for months and months, must have watched every Youtube review/turorial out there and still can’t justify the price!! It’s taken years for me to find a method of getting my hair to hold curls/waves for more than a few hours and i’m not sure this would live up to that interested in reading others’ thoughts, especially those of you who have naturally frizzy hair!

Love mine! They are expensive but worth it in my opinion. My hair is naturally wavy and it works really well.
I also can't use the traditional curlers and this is so easy once you get the hang of it
