She’s split up with Ian, living with kate
Still filling out her planner with pointless tasks like hoovering and watching Netflix
Is now on the trip to the US instead of paris….. barely done anything

Firstly she has money to pay for these trips and flights are extremely expensive and the 50th has pushed prices even more. The fact she can blow money but can’t move into her own place would piss me off Kate you need to bring this nearly 40yo down to earth! She can’t keep freeloading off you forever. Something has to give!
A lot of this trip will already be paid for as she has just been moving the dates around. But yes, very sad that her first priority is to get to WDW and not sort her life out. Maybe this one lazy trip of walking down main street with a coffee before riding the people mover is what she needs to feel settled before tackling real life again. Very sad.

I wonder how much her travel insurance costs her with her TM?

Correct, although most insurers are not usually that bothered about those kind of chronic conditions in my experience. It’s the older people and people with heart conditions, cancers or are awaiting other treatment that get hit with big premiums
My friend who has Chron's needs to declare it and often the insurance is more than the cost of the flight! It can add up if you declare everything but why would you risk it by not declaring and potentially fall ill!
I have a chronic neurological condition and my insurance has to go through a specialist insurer and it adds on a good few hundred pounds and the annual policy is horrendous .
Ah I see. I have Chronic Crohns. However it is under control, so maybe that’s why i have no premium increase

Its a shame, I think a night spending time with other people like her would have given her a wee boost. She annoys me on so many things, but I do just want things to work out okay for her with the split.
