Run a metal clothes hanger over the fabric as it stops the static.
If using hairspray, spray your legs/bum not the fabric.
A slip or the sucky in skimming nvpl type pieces will help also. Easily & affordably gotten from Amazon, Penneys/Primark, Tesco, Dunnes.

Make sure your skin is super moisturised, that will help.
I'm sure I've heard of people spraying hairspray on the fabric to reduce static but I'm not sure it works and you'd need to be careful as hairspray can degrade synthetic fabrics.

I used to laugh at my mum for recommending them, but petticoats definitely will help, and are so thin they won't add to your arse :)

I got a slip from M&S (who knew!)

Seems to have helped a bit, not wearing tights as weather a bit better. Would cotton knickers also help?

I have a dress that I want to wear to an event but the dress sticks to me with static ( I think).

My arse is big enough as it is.

What do I do? Thanks
