I'm sure I saw something similar to that about Japan, I think it was a 700% tariff on rice imports? But again this was because of a strict quota system and punitive pricing makes more sense than having to dump all the excess into the sea.

He's thought about that, or someone smarter has - the proposed rule change is that you can run for another term if you didn't have two consecutive terms. If it passes, technically someone could do a Putin and just keep swapping out with a tame puppet.

Last term it was pure entertainment for non-USA residents. Like I really loved switching on the news to see his funny rants.

This term doesn't feel funny anymore because he's hit us all in the pockets lol.

They will always be in denial otherwise they are admitting they ruined their own lives. Even those who voted for him and now they/ their families are being deported won’t come out and say they were wrong, the most I’ve seen is possibly I made a mistake!
